never buy a Subic Pajero! It's like patronizing the tax-evading, law-breaking, guns-goons-and-gold people!

Totally different engines sila sharing no major parts.

    125bhp 4m40 turbo intercooler
    99bhp 4d56 turbo intercooler

Kim, paalala mo sakin yung nalalapit na auction. Try ko mag-tag along.

AFAIK, 4m40 was available on imported (ex-JDM) GEN II (tonka-body) Pajeros. The difference between the 4d56 and 4m40 Pajero was the hood scoop for the 4m40 and the different graphics/lettering on the rear quarter panels.

The engine made it's local debut in the GEN II.5 Field Master Pajeros.

subic pajeros need higher maintanance but not necessarily costly. if your just into driving and not fond of having time for small repairs and maintainance, then Revo ka nalang.

but if is me deciding, I would choose Subic Pajero kasi marami akong kilala na matakbuhan sa mga sira niya.

Imo, mas mas matibay parin yung import from Japan. it's really up to the quality of the convertion. naalala ko tuloy yung malakas na humarorot na Local Pajero 2800 Field Master dito few months ago. but after a few minutes sa unahan, I saw their pajero nasa gilid na ng daan nasira. mukhang nalito pa yung mga pasahero kung ano ang problema...

saan po ba na auction ka galing?

Thanks sa mga reply nyo. Deferred muna ang window shopping ko sa malinta since there are only 5 pajero to choose from the auction house.

This will give me more time to buy time to decide... but of course my first priority is the revo.

Yun na nga lang ang gagawin ko cguro, to continue looking at bulletin adds...i find some revo vx200 for sale that are within the budget but majority are second owner na tapos nawawala daw ang service records and some are on display sa 2nd hand car center.

Anyway, i will keep on trying baka makatsamba din ako...

Still I welcome your inputs and it really help a lot.

    4m40, 2 variants yan:

the one istalled sa local gen 2.5 and gen2 4m40, including delica spacegear is 125hp.

actually, buying from an importer and buying from a used local is the same, they're BOTH killing the economy of the new cars brought out by the dealer...

but what can we do, e to lang lang pera ng common na pinoy, an we want naman din to make sulit sa pera namin. for sa upperclass, siguro spendin/loaning 1M-2M is not hard, pero isipin nyo, ang typical na pinoy, ay may 1M-2M on-hand/petty cash a year? 500K is a big money to spend, 100K nga lang masaya na ang pinoy,e...pero, kung 1M lang pera mo, bibili ka ng bago, financing, so gumawa ka pa ng sakit ng ulo mo, diba?

importers, tax-evaders, law-brakers? i can tell na wala ka sa business. isipin mo muna ung ITR mo..are really paying full?

these business pay MILLIONS also in taxes. amin nga lang, 200 thou na nga,e...

ok,ok, maswerte pa nga yung mga may plantang car manufacturers, lesser ang tax payable nila than those importers.

and ang maganda nito, is competition...sa tingin mo, bakit nagkaroon ng financing, gumanda features ng sasakyan natin...kasi para ma-lure away sa imported.

e why used imported car ka galit, dapat sa gray importers ng BAGONG sasakyan! brand-new vs. brand-new., illogical comparahin brand-new vs. second/used....

see. kung ayaw mo sa imported, so be it, gusto mo yan. and i respect it..

and finally, ha, kahit ako, sinu bang may aayaw sa bago, diba?
