How would a 2004-2006 Strada 4x4 compare to a Toyota Hilux of the same batch and spec? Overall? I'm choosing between the two as my next car kasi.

without sounding too bias, i'd go for a starda, for me it looks better than a hilux, more accessories available out there...you have a choice between a 2.5 or a 3.2l diesel 4x4 version against the 2.7l gas or 3.0l diesel 4x4...the AT is invecs unlike the toyota....
uhm... actually, it is different answer for you... the 2004-2006 Strada is the last update of the 3rd Generation Strada that first appeared locally in 1999 and it looks something like this...
^^^ we have a club member with this kind of strada- Doc Homer seems to be enjoying it immensely!
this is where there MMPC evolved the Strada from this particular variant that was locally assembled to the bare-to-the-bones GLX model that was imported from thailand. It also paved way for the importation of the 4th Generation Strada Introduced August of 2006.
but nonetheless, the strada has more ooomph than the hilux plus the choice of manual and automatic transmission models. the 2.5 turbo intercooler diesel gives 98hp (minus 2hp due to euro 1) versus the 2.8 naturally aspirated diesel with about 88hp only. In addition to this, the Strada look attractive. It also had a Limited Edition run that featured a monotone paint scheme, Leather/Suede seats, moulded cargo box and Ralliart Pajero Magweels in 2004-2005. do take note that it was with this edition when MMPC first installed a Driver Side Airbag - although i do admit that its contemporary- the Nissan Frontier had it first... hehehe...
Hint: i know of someone who is selling a 2004 Strada Limited Edition... PM me for details.
Go for the Strada!...and join us also at the TSCP afterwards.

repost... with some changes.
uhm... actually, i have a different answer for you... this is the 3rd Generation Strada that was introduced back in mid 2002 as a 2003 model. it is the last update of locally assembled units from what first appeared locally in 1999 and it looks something like this below. Take note of the expanded grille and extended bumper.
^^^ we have a club member with this kind of Strada (in A/T)- Doc Homer seems to be enjoying it immensely! another Tsikoteer by the name of Roadwarrior has this edition too. Noteworthy27, another Strada Club member has the edition before this one that he purchased back in 2001.

The read passenger side power window of my 2007 GLX L200 is not functioning well when going up but is ok when you want it to go down. Is this an electrical or a mechanical problem with the motor itself na? Anybody experienced this already?
