    mga sir, pls tulungan nyo naman ako sa galant ko( MITZ GLANT 92, mpi 2.0 ECI, pinaoverhaul ko cya kc ang sira nya ay malakas na maglabas ng maputing usok na masakit sa ilong at may lumalabas nang oil sa tambusto, pinagawa ko cya sa mekaniko ko na gumagawa ng car ko before, ito ang mga list ng ginawa

    - sleeve (liner)
    - change piston rings
    - change valve seals
    - change set of overhaul gasket
    - grindings of valve
    - change of timing belts 2pcs
    note: sabi ng mekaniko en andun din naman ako nung ginawa ito sa bahay namin, talagang lahat ay na check maiigi, pero ang problem ay parang ang bigat humatak at parang mahina na ang power nya, sabi ng mekaniko sakin ay ganyan lang daw talaga sa umpisa kasi lumalapat pa yung mga piston rings, sa ngayon po ay nahihirapan akong i break in kasi sa bigat ng takbo nya ay nagooverheat cya kung malakas oh laging nasa 2krpm ang tappak ko, kasi pati trany ko may problem din dahi bumibitaw ang 2ng and 3rd gear nya, kaya pag nag break in ako halos hindi maaabot sa 40 or 50km ang takbo kasi naman kailangan galitin ko muna ang rpm ko hangang 3k para lang kumagat ang 4th gear

    mga boss pls help me, hindi ako familiar sa car masyado en first time ko ang mag pa overhaul, tnx

    sir tama ba ang pag kabit ng timing belt?may marking ba na ginamit?

    opo sir tama po, may marking cyang sinunod, pero tama rin po ba yung cnabi nung mekaniko na sa umpisa ng overhayul ay ganun talaga kasi hindi pa lapat talaga ang ring?

    opo totoo po yun break in talaga mangyayari dyan kung maari huwag mo muna patakbuhin ng over 80kmh gamitin mo muna ng isang linggo ngayon kung ganun pa din at walang pagbabago consult mo ulit sa mechanic mo ganyan talaga sa umpisa tiis tiis muna. nid mo ba ng oto everyday?

    medyo need ko po, naka 20k na po ang gastos ko d2 cmula nung overhaul, pati trany ko may problem pa, a/t kc po, pag andar ko ppag kakapit na ang 2nd gear nya ay bumibitaw, pina check ko na rin pero hirap ma trace, even atf at mga dapat i check nagawa na, pero parang po mauuwi sa change trany, hindi po ba masa na nagoverheat itong makina ko, kc kagabi nung break in ko hindi gumana angn fan kaya nagulat ako nasa pula na ang gauge

    baka naman sa trans mo na may problem sir? pag nasa 1st gear ang oto mo ilang rpm bago sya mag shift sa 2nd gear and 3rd gear?

    if you are anywhere near in las pinas PM me so i can refer you to my mechanic... for sure may mali dyan sa engine mo.. yung suzuki every ko 3cylinders 660cc pina overhaul ko kasi bumigay na yung gasket kasi luma na talaga (original pa from japan pero hindi pa kumakain ng langis yun), after overhaul eh parang brandnew ulet yung makina lakas humatak, hindi nag over heat at maganda sunog ng gasolina.. wala na akong break in break in pa.. hataw na agad. no eratic idlings or any problems galing talaga..

    *sir yapoy ok sir tnx, pero baka hindi umabot itong car ko papunta dyan, kasi hirap humatak eh, baka pag natrapik pa ako mag overheat,

    np. i hope you get that all sorted out.

    electronic fuel injected (efi) engines like yours were built to high precision specs. hindi na sya gaya nung mga lumang 3k or saturn na makina nung 1979 - yung clearances sa loob are not as loose as those found in old engines. so pag inayos, dapat precise din ang kabit, at alagaan ang computer box lagi pag mag diagnose.

    i'm not saying that the efi engines can't be serviced by shops other than the casa ha... i just mean that servicing them requires experience and more technical skill.

    if the rings and sleeves did not seat properly, you will have to re-do the overhaul.

    if the bad power doesn't resolve, something's wrong in there. that said, i have yet to see an overhauled engine with bad performance like yours resolve sponteneously. it's not like it's going to heal itself you know.

    at first start after putting it all back together, the engine should make good power even if the rings haven't seated properly. from there, 2 possible outcomes: rings wont seal with liners = wasak. rings seal properly, engine starts making more power and starts getting quieter.

    my top 3 guesses:

    1. transmission.
    2. timing
    3. at 1st start the mechanic failed to set the fuel/air calibration. you're running rich, gasoline is washing down the sleeves removing the precious lubricating oil preventing the rings from seating properly, forever.

    crucial ang 1st 5 hours ng initial start up. if you don't resolve the issues above within the time frame, the engine will never break in properly.

    but, you do have hope. have items 1 and 2 checked muna.

    * voltscastillo sir thank you sa time en payo mo, kasi sabi ng mechanic eh ganyan daw talaga lahat ng inooverhaul, kasi naglalapat pa ang ring sa sleeve eh, hmmm totoo ba yun sir? kung ring lang daw pinalitan at hindi nag pa sleeve ay maayos daw kagad yan, pero since na pina sleeve ay nag lalapat pa daw yun,
