Space Wagon idling problem

mga sir, i have a '95 space wagon and the rpm drops to almost zero when i take my foot off the accelerator to shift gears. Sometimes the engine totally dies. What could be the issue? Hope somebody can help me. Thanks.

is your engine EFI or carb fed?

i have a '99 model Space Wagon 4G93 engine, one time ay na-experience ko rin yan. i checked the spark plugs, TBS, etc . . . pero to no avail. what i did was i had the servo cleaned. matyaga kasi yung mechanic ko kasi sa iba ay replace agad daw yung servo unit. mahal kaya nilinis na lang. ayun, tumino ang idling.
