Congrats vr-6! Mas mababa talaga yung bubong ng Gen3 than the prado. Pero maganda naman ang headroom and space because wala na siyang ladder frame.

    ano features nung multimeter?

I was at the dealership last night. Finally got to see the GEN III. Konting observations lang:

*The third row seats no longer have headrests (unlike the gray market ones).
*The flashlight in the luggage compartment is not there anymore.
*The door mounted rear toolkit is also gone.
*The pintle hook does stick out from underneath the rear bumper. It may look ugly but I guess it will save you're Pajero's bumper from getting dragged off-road when you suddenly realize that you have exceeded its departure angle.

hmm... i've seen the Gen3 specs in the Mitsu Philippines site...

why is it stated there that the speakers, keyless entry w/ alarm and even the Mit-Air Aircon System are options? Does this mean that they are still not included in the 2.4M standard package? Will that mean that getting these options will add up to the price? Is a CD-changer already included with pioneer head unit?

dude kasama na keyless entry system w/ alarm & the mit-air aircon system. nope wala pang cd-changer na kasama. yung pioneer cdx-p1280 12-disc changer (silver) ang binili ko. Php7,000 sa winterpine araneta. nahirapan nga maghanap ng space to fit the changer

di ko pa masyado pinaglalaruan eh. natuwa kasi ako dun sa soundsystem niya. mitsubishi did a good job in selecting the audio equipment 4 the genIII. sarap magpatugtog ng RNB tracks bumabayo eh. hehe tom yung multimeter naman ang paglalaruan ko.

dude nakakahinayang dalhin yung genIII sa mga mall. rockwell pwede pa siguro. yung prado nga namin rockwell powerplant lang ang mall na napupuntahan nun. some people are careless kasi lalo na yung makakatabi mo sa parking walang ingat pag nagbubukas ng door ng auto nila

i think mas tahimik ang prado. in terms of ride, prado pero konti lang difference from the genIII pajero. acceleration, definitely pajero. pakiramdam ko naka-vr ako pero suv. sa pajero mas feel mo yung power ng engine. yung prado is more of a "silent cruiser". interior noise levels? hmm... prado para sa akin but it doesnt mean na maingay yung pajero sa loob. personally i dont see or feel anything wrong with the genIII. para nga sa akin mitsubishi did a very good job in addressing the negative aspects of the past model. di ba may kasbihan nga na you learn from your mistakes. kahit nga ngayon i still miss yung gen2 namin & i still feel bad na binenta yun. if i had the money bibili parin ako ng gen2 ngayon & customize it just like what i did with our gen2 before. to all owners of the previous versions of the pajero, be proud of your ride. always remember, "pajero" parin yan. naging status symbol na ang pajero here sa pinas. it defined the character of an suv.

Nakaasar lang minsan people don't really see beyond the name. They tend to think that the Pajero sells on brand name alone.

yep... i also have a '96 gen2 pajero and i still use it alternately with my '03 Patrol GU which I bought last September (pre-excise)...

that pajero holds so many memories for me so I would never ever consider selling it... i've been doing a lot of repairs on it recently - power steering, suspension, injection pump calibration, injection nozzle replacement, etc... I'm even considering doing an engine overhaul although hindi pa naman talaga necessary...

i don't care about the maintenance expenses since my pajero has given me so much service and goodwill throughout these years na ika nga sobrang bawing-bawi na ang investment ko sa kanya... i guess it's time i give something back to my pajero...

    senti, no? :D

The Pajero will not be one of the most well know and best-selling SUV the world over kung pangalan lang ang meron siya. U.S. market lang ata ang hindi niya na-break. Pero in Australia, Japan, Africa and even the Middle East malakas ang Pajero. :D
