    ^Up. Im nearing 60K already.
At what km reading are you now sir?

The manual recommends to change it between 60k to 80k.

Mukang marami rin atang tatangalin kasi medyo masikip yung engine space.

75k kms and running. The total labor/parts quote from Mitsu Diamond QA is around 24k, 2-3 days work. Mitsu Balintawak quotes 20+k with also 2-3 days work.

Sobra naman. Magkano lang naman belt.
20K for timing belt replacement? pass haha.

How about on your suking gas station sir? Here on our place, may gas station dito na maraming nagpapagawa e.

    Paging sir Zix...

Bearings ng pulley sir papalitan din nila?
Diba kapag nag belt replacement, sabay din pinapalitan yung tensioner?

Or baka yung 24k is package na, including belt replacement, tensioner, change oil, oil filter, tune up, etc. Yung regular maintenance plus the belts

I need your expert thoughts. I just read the 2 Service Booklets that came with our Montys. The Thailand Service Booklet (Blue) recommends timing belt replacement every 80,000-100,000 kms. (nakagisnan natin na standard). The Philippine Service Booklet (Green) naman recommends replacement by 60,000-80,000 kms. Sino sa kanila nagsasabi ng totoo? Galing Thailand lahat ng Montero sa Pinas. Gusto lang bang "kumita" ng Mitsubishi Phils?

Not on a mitsu but they are an suv specialist shop so I had dr. G in q.c. Do the tbelt change on my old toyota. Labor was a little under 6k. Replaced the belt, water pump, thermostat, tensioner, fanbelts, all fluids and filters.

I just bought my own parts as per shop advice. Mostly original except for the tensioner bearing which was koyo (original was also koyo) and the water pump with aisin (they also make the orig water pump).

way back 1997 napatiran kami timing belt sa nlex. local Gen 2 pajero.

    Sirs,

    Madugo talaga timing belt change....

Minimum parts to be replaced are the

    timing belt/s
    tesioner belt/s
    tensioner bearings
    camshaft oil seal
    crankshaft oil seal.

Not going to the casa ...that's for sure.... but hinde naman ako malakas mag mileage, around 15k a year, baka maunahan pa ng benta ng Monty ko yung palit ng timing belts.

But if you really want casa...I suggest you wait for their rainy day promo's or out of warranty vehicle promo, usually 20% off yung parts and 30% off yung labor....

Someone correct me if I am wrong but the timing belt pati ata ATF has a separate annotation sa service booklet/manual parang sa mileage lng sya based ( timing belt is 60-80K kms ata), wala naka specified na time interval. Pwede rin naman na iassume mo yung counterpart ng 60K kms sa time interval just to be safe, so 60K kms will be 36 mos o 3 years ( kung 10K kms or 6mos whichever comes first ang PMS). Yung iba 100K kms magpalit ng belt so 5 years yun.
