my yokohamas are locally made. the champiro is indonesian, yata. (lumabas na kotse; can't check now.). the latter probably has the economies of volume.
well, "it looked like a tire and it rolled like a tire". so i don't think it's a fake tire.

we got ours from a listed authorized dealer.
we've been using it regularly. if it's a fake, it's a damn good one.
