December 10th, 2013 02:00 PM #1Some of my friends and relative advise me to always turn the aircon on sa rear... kase nag yeyelo daw yun and kakalwangin.. mas mabilis din lumamig yung sasakyan.. kaso nga lang mas mabilis din dumumi yung ceiling...
Kayo ano sa tingin nyo...

imho, magyeyelo lang yun kung barado ang condenser. and i dont think kakalawangin yun. modern cars aircon vents are mostly made of aluminum and plastic.

I'm opening the rear aircon only if I have passengers at the back but mostly if me and wifey front air con will do

I say, turn it on, even on just the lowest fan setting. Either way, lumalamig yung evaporator coil nyan so might as well magamit yung lamig.

December 16th, 2013 10:27 AM #7always on mo na ang rear, di tulad nung lumang luma adventure my solenoid valve pag naka off ang rear, ngayon wala na sayang ang lamig ng evaporator pag alang hangin..

malaya kang magagawa ang gusto mo kung bubuksan mo indie ang rear aircon, kung may pasahero ka sa likod natural bubuksan mo yun kung wala naman e bakit pa kelangan buksan kung meron naman sa harapan..

IMO you should turn your ac sa likod kahit walang pasahero dun kahit minumum lang for good circualtion of cool air and mas madaling mapalamig ang loob nang sasakayan and not dahil kakalawangin or mag yeyelo. Your compressor's thermostat depends on how cool the return air from the circulation. So pag mabilis lumamig yung loob nang car mo, mabilis din ang pag stop nang ac compressor mo. More air outlet the better and that translate also to saving fuel.
makakakita usually nang ice/frost sa evaporator nang aircon pag madumi na ito. also may forst din sa evaporator and sa low pressure side nang aircon system pag kulang na ang freon due to short cycling of the compressor.
I dont have an adventure and correct me if i'm wrong dahil it doesnt make sense na kakalawangin yung aircon vent mo sa likod pag di ginamit dahil isa lang ang evaportor nyan. Same lang ang pinagkukunan nang cool air sa front at sa likod ng aircon vents.
