I don't think it's the compressor kicking in. Kasi more on "whiney" or parang breathing noise un diba? Di ung taptap or parang knock.

Sorry kung medyo makulit. Im just really nervous. worst case scenario kasi if may something wrong sa engine, im gonna have to sell the car because i might not able to afford an overhaul because of my impending move.

Do i dare say it could also be your aux fan failing.

at this point i think mas tanggapin ko pa ang defect sa AC kesa defect sa engine 😭

Yung Mirage nga eh offer pa nila is 5 years warranty & free labor charge during that period. Technically, they do that to keep you coming back to them for the next 5 years, free nga labor pero tatagain ka sa parts & fluids. Pero bring things back to them for warranty claim... "naku sir, hindi covered yan."

However helpful everybody wants to be, mahirap ata magbigay ng opinon based on a description lang in a forum. Engine knock from premature ignition, valve lifters needing adjustment, or a a tool left wedged in some corner of the engine compartment (it can happen, believe me!)

If the sound is caused by any of those, magkano po kaya ang estimate ng cost for repairs pag sa casa vs sa talyer?

Again i apologize if i seem to be asking the obvious. Im not auto savvy :/

Sobrang nadagdag lang ung kaba ko when I read posts about rod knocks, and how it's the death of the engine. Nag wild na tuloy imagination ko. I dont want to sell the car right away, but if push comes to shove, i might have to if sobrang mahal ng repair cost

But yes. You can try to change back to your old gas just to rule it out. But you need to empty out your current one. Might be a bad batch or something else.

+1 baka tumotope ang makina. or it could improper application of gears, hindi ko kasi nasundan yung isang thread ni TS.

Yes, MT po. In my my other thread, i mentioned that i had my oil checked and it seemed fine (kasi pag knocking sound, low oil daw usually ang cause). Honey brown ang color, clear, no debris or sediments, and full pa. My car is still at 9km so di pa nagpa change oil since my last at 5km. The only change in m car is me switching to shell fuel save from v power nitro because I was running low on gas and wala ng iba. Medyo mataas din ung nabyahe ko with that gas.

like what bro chronicle said, fill up(gas) what is recommended for your engine. don't mind that "daw" pertaining to knocking due to low oil.
