pero i've always been a fan of both cars...pero kung bibili ako considering my daily usage and porma (madami kasing evos..), ill choose the WRX talaga.

227hp USDM WRX not STi. USDM STi is 300hp 6-spd.

yes, thats how restrictive our catalytic converters here sa US.

www.turboxs.com has the dyno numbers.

also, check the latest dyno sheet from harman motive inc.

Hey guys,

Here's a test we did last night. We took a stock 2004 WRX, did a baseline. We then replaced the uppipe and turboback. We used a downpipe with cat for the test.

Nothing else was changed at all. This is on 91 octane fuel.

exhaust components includes:
PDE uppipe, downpipe, and Greddy EVO2 catback. those are big numbers considering may catalytic converter pa ang D/P.

the Turbo XS UTEC (User Tunable Engine Management) alone will yield a hp jump from 227hp to 275hp. Wala pang TB exhaust yon.

Hi, Tama ka dun na car performance (lamang nga ang Evo)...problema ko lang sa Evo...Pinagiisipan ko pa lang yung EvoVII..lumabas na yung EvoVIII...

Btw, ilan taon ba bago magpalit ng model ang Wrx STi?

well regarding palit model nang WrX Sti, depende yata dun sa isinasali nila sa WRC.. teka you mean ba na yung palit nang buong platform and engine? or aesthetic alterations lang?

baka masagot ni sir karding yang tanong mo tungkol sa WrX...hehehe

ang evo kasi nag-evolve na yung model nila eh...pero same engine pa rin yata...just major tweaks and new turbos....

order sila for 3 months...tapos di aila nag-stock ng parts..usually 3 wks daw pag-order ng parts..

pero may nakita akong Evo 5 or 6? (yung pizza)..orig LHD, 99' model, 20k mileage...1.1M ang asking price...(mukang sariwa pa naman)...yung engine, siguro sasama na lang ako ng nakakaintindi. para ma-check..

There is one white evo 5 for sale at ATC Auto trade (above the parking structure) selling for 1.1M neg. They say original LHD, but it is a local chassis. Chassis tag inside the engine bay says "MMPh." There is also a yellow Evo 7 (1.3M) When looking at Evo 7-9 converted units have the windshield wiper flow the opposite direction (conversion jobs forget to change it sometimes). A dead give away is the brake booster outline on the right side of the engine bay.

as for the price, wala talaga akong alam dyan but i know the prominent tuners of the evo is autoplus, maybe you can have them inspect before purchasing?

sir, bat mo nasabi fav mo yung evo 4-6?...ano pinagkaiba nung 4-6 sa evo7-8? (same engine lang naman yata sila di ba?)..sa body lang sila magkaiba?

yup, i like the body stlying of the evo 4 to 6. yung 7 and 8, medyo parang too much na, especially the evo 8.

but if someone will give me a 7 or 8, tatanggapin ko rin hehehe
