"pizza pie" Lancer help...

Mga bro, may inaalok sa aking 1998 model Lancer, yung pizza pie ang rear lites...

May mga nagsasabing hindi daw maganda ang model na ito. Pero it pays to investigate more. Ano ang feedback nyo about this Lancer model?

i had lancer 97 glxi AT before. Ala naman ako naging problema, kasi alaga naman. Yun lang mejo matagtag talaga ang suspension, so ginawa ko pinacustomize ko sa zee carplus.

si erpats ganyan ang auto ... so far wala naman reklamo aside from suspension medyo mahina kapag di naagapan ang palitan....

-the only problem will be the weak stock and oem suspension parts, but it can be remediated by replacing all suspension parts with aftermarket parts.
-fuel consumption is ok, reasonable.
-plenty of parts and accessories

I still have my 97 lancer 1.6 at eto mga observation ko

- mas matagtag compared sa toyota
- parang kumakalansing ang dash ( sabi common problem daw ng lancer ito lalo na pag luma na )

tama yung sabi ni vlady, madali lang parts, mga ilang suspension parts lang pero madali palitan.

i have my 99 lancer and great so far, running more than 255k, and problem free hanggang ngayon, no overhauls and leaks, so kung performance yung sinasabi nila na hindi maganda, di ako agree doon. very reliable

ganda oto nyan si sarsi, maski high mileage na...heheheh.

mine is a 2k lancer on 218k odo. wala pa ring leaks or something. di pa din nagpapalit ng a/c compressor. only major things replaced are timing belts, water pump as part of the preventive maintenance, a busted secondaryclutch master, engine supports, regular a/c cleanings, batteries, and replacement of all suspension parts.

also replaced some loose door fasteners to remove the unnecessary sounds emanating from the door.

alaga din sa PDR and waxing.... so far, ok pa naman sya.

to conlude, wala sa oto yan... nasa owner yan kung pano mo alagaan ang oto mo.

addition ko lang about the pizza:

- sarap lagyan ng 17" rims
- body kits
- JASMA muffler....

taas nyan sir ah hehe. 255, yung 97 lancer ko 109k pa lang. so far ala naman ako major prob. sa thread starter, ang tanong magkano offer sayo? kung reasonable naman and tingin mo ok pa takbo, go for it. by the way, kung AT yun make sure nagpalit ng ATF nung 40k and 80k.

+1 dito, it's the one who's using the car. ayoko na ng 17", ang hirap tumakbo, hehehe. balik 15" na ko. even the truck that i'm using now, 01 model pero 197k na odo. wala pa din problema.

based on your options, its the corolla. lower mileage, and fuel injected, compared to the carbed Pizza.

pano kaya alsin yung kalansing sa dash? nakakairita minsan. hehe.

buksan mo, tapos galaw-galawin mo yung parts, dun mo makikita (at maririnig) ano yung cause ng kalansing. Tapos, i-clamp down mo using tie cables or foam.
