    Are they Cheating?

I visited Pitstop motors and viewed the 2010 Mitsubishi Eclipse they were selling.

They said the cars were imported from Korea, and they priced it at 1,800,000.

It was a good price, but out of curiosity I visited Mitsubishi Korea's website to see the actual price of the Eclipse sold there.

    Here's the link:

    http://www.mmsk.co.kr/builds/new?img...pe+Function%5D

I can't understand Korean so let us assume the price of the car is 45,000,000 Won

    45,000,000 won / 1120 = 40,170 US Dollars

    40,170 US dollars X 44 = 1,767,857 Philippine Peso

They still have to pay for Freight from Korea to Philippines and they still have to pay taxes. Its impossible that they can price this at 1,800,000 pesos.

    What do you guys think?

pero if I had 1.8m I'd rather buy a GC nalang kung sports car lang din...hehehe

Nice one! Baka naman nga old units tapos they bought in bulk kaya may further discount? Pero sana meron ding Evo na 1.8M...

It may be possible. But I asked a friend who works at Sector 5 ng Customs and he said the import duties and taxes of a 2 door coupe is around 300-400K depending on engine displacement. Then they still have to pay their customs broker and the freight from Korea to here.

    ok

    september

    45,000,000 KRW / 1,200 USD = 37,500 USD

    37,500 USD X 45 PHP = 1,687,500 PHP

But the 45,000,000KRW is the sticker price. Pitstop definitely won't buy at sticker price.
