I have mitsu Lancer GT '85 black Boxtype.
kakabili ko lang po kasi but it works fine.makinis walang dimple. but nangyri to.:
naglagay kasi po ako ng engine oil, nagkamali ako ng lagay, nalagay ko is Automatic transmission and power steering fluid sa engine.
    ngayun nagleleak yung engine oil.

    magkano paayos nun?

    Help please.
Very much appreciated kahit anong comment/suggestion/recommendation na maiibigay.
    More power mga Boss!

When you found out that it wasn't oil did you remove and replace with the proper fluids or did you continue to use it? If the oil level is below level add oil before using it unless you don't like the car much or have money to burn. Where are you leaking the oil?

No.i didnt change the oil, ngayun ko lang napansin kasi nakalagay sa ibang lalagyan. power steering fluids pla yun. then ngayun lang nagkaproblema.
i didnt know where the leaks was, tiningnan ko sa ilalim may oil sa floor and basa yung makina ng oil.,
can i fix it?or should i bring it to the mechanic? dahil ba sa fluid na yun?

I'd drain it and put cheap oil(proper viscosity) first and run then drain and put in good oil. But you also have to find out where the oil is coming from since you said it's all over the engine. Is oil leaking from the drain plug? Does it smoke when you use the car? If so what color? You probably burned the fluid you put in before since it wasn't meant to be engine oil and lack the viscosity. Bring it to your trusted mechanic to check if you are not familiar with cars.

    thanks for reply again redorange..
yea, the smoke is not normal, it looks like white smoke.
what if the oil is leaking from the Drain plug? im slightly familiar with cars but i want to be familiar with my car,so that whenever happens i can fix it and ilove my old school car., haha,,
how much it will cost if i bring it to mechanic to repair the leaks?
    thanks!

Regarding yong leak saan ba lumalabas? Kung sa head gasket doon sa mechaniko mo ipagawa, kung sa oil pan naman galing ikaw nalang ang magpalit ng gasket its easy to fix just dont over tighten those bolt or leak may occur again, clean the oil pan also.

If the engine has oil all over then I doubt it's your oil pan since that's at the bottom. If you have white smoke that's not good also better have a mechanic check it. Can't give you a price since there is no telling what has been damaged already. How long did you drive it with the wrong fluids?
