January 17th, 2011 12:26 PM #1hi po,
we just bought a 2nd hand car, adventure gls sport. ok naman po siya overall, although as can be expected from a second-hand, there are some concerns that i would like to consult with the experts here. first time kasi to own a vehicle eh so sensya na if some questions seem silly.
> how do we verify model - 2008 daw yung unit, pero info sa warranty indicates dec. 2007 siya kinuha.
> we noticed fuel consumption is very high, city driving lang, 2 days empty after full tank - would a calibration fix this?
> the right signal light stays stuck upon turning - how and where do we go to fix this?
> cabin interior light is not working - is this just a bulb or electrical issue?
mileage is 46k - already changed oil and filter. any other recommended checks? and sino/saan reliable and affordable?
maganda naman po ang takbo. just want to make sure that it is in its best condition especially since my two young daughters will be the primary passengers of the car.
thanks and more power to everyone here!

January 17th, 2011 12:36 PM #2Ung model ng sasakyan makikita sa driver side door me plate dun nka indicate ang year model ng sasakyan. kung mataas ang fuel consumption po ninyo ay may marami itong posibleng dahilan, defective ung O2 sensor nyo or MAF sensor, pwede din palyado ang fuel pressure regulator, engine timing ay isa ring issue. interior lighting pwede icheck and fuse n nsa paanan ng driver's compartment, tangaling ung fuse cover at tingnan dun kung alin ang interior fuse kung sira at palitan kung kailangan. Ung air filter napalitan nb, it should be changed every 30,000km

- air filter was cleaned na previously. we will do so after 5k.
- how about my question about the signal light staying on after a turn?

ok biodiesel. proven to be helpful yan. yung karamihan naman sa diesel ngaun ay may 1% blend na, ok na rin yun. pero kung may mas mataas like petron turbo diesel, much better. but since hind pang-karera advie, no since in using it.
pa-check mo n lng yan auto mo, taas nga ng FC mo eh. sana hindi calibration as it will set you back 15-18K.

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
