hmmm, konti pa lang kasi ang umabot sa 40k kms sa new strada... wait po natin si apollo_kafka, he keeps track of his expenses sa PMS and he is very proud of the mileage of his Megatron

i could not give an objective opinion since I havent driven a navara yet...

pero here are the opinions of those who had the opportunity to compare the two vehicles...

a. truck bed of the navara is bigger
b. cabin space of the strada is roomier
c. acceleration of navara is quicker but top speed, depende na yun sa dibdib ng driver, hehe
d. more expensive ang navara
e. sedan like suspension of strada is better
f. the strada has "a club that rocks" hehe

over all, nasa end user kung ano ang better vehicle... pero since strada thread ito... I suggest go for the strada

the strada can go river crossing.... hehehehe
big discount if you choose strada over navarra ...

Navara is over rated... its not famous here in our country... check the pick -up sale.. Strada is leading... If i read your comment, your so much incline to navara... its your decision.. we only recommend...

Katulad mo rin ako. I'm about to buy the Navara, actually I placed order na BUT I withdraw it after reading this forum.

Pros :

1. Navara really pulls fast on a stop. The thing screams truck physically.
2. Big. Closest thing to owning an F-150.
3. Aircon is cool. Always.
4. Bed cargo is big.
5. I love the boxy look. I'm a bit old fashioned.

Cons :

1. No USB slot.
2. No auto climate.
3. Didn't like the turn knob 4x4. I prefer levers.
4. Nissan advertise that Navara has the highest ground clearance. I don't think so.
5. You can't retract the antenna. Something useful when parking in squatter areas.
6. Big turning radius.

Why Strada :

1. Small turning radius.
2. Bigger cabin room.
3. USB slot.
4. Ride is not harsh.
5. Ride height is higher.

Cons :

1. Cargo bed is the smallest. I don't mind. I don't haul BIG cargos.
2. Lever orientation is for Right Hand Drive. Took me awhile to adjust.
3. Passenger seat has more room than the driver side. This is given since the truck started as RHD.
4. 4x4 lever is on the right side. Again, cause the truck is originally RHD.
5. No hair triggering accelaration like the Navara. I'm fine with this since I'm no 16year old that is so hot on the pedal.

BTW, both trucks have the worst casa service.I bought the Strada without any test drive like the Navara and D-Max. I have faith with tsikot peeps reviews. And the last thing I considered is the Strada's looks. It grows na lang to me over time.

So far I'm happy with it.

Kaya nga pumasok ako sa thread na to pra humingi ng mga tips regarding sa strada. dpa pa ako naka pag deside kng ano kukunin ko mga parekoys. kaya nga nandto ako sa thread nto eh pra mag pa advice eh, kng ano nman ang mga masasabi ng mga nka strada dba. kaya lng ako bibili ng pick-up ko pra all purpose dba. well anyways i think strada group/club is a nice and active group, good luck on your club, a week from now may pick up nko, dko lng sure kng ano, i hope makapili ako ng mabuti.... tnx guys

if you consider safety as the most important e google mo crash test strada then you will see these trucks: nissan-navara, mits-triton, isuzu-dmax tested patibayan ng body & accuracy on airbag. its your choice take time bro..

just got my 3.2 gls sport strada.
kaya lng tagal ko pa sya mgagamit dito pako uk

guys ask ko lang po how much yung roll bar and utility box
and how much din po yung mickey thompson all terrain tires 265/70 to 285/70 yung mga my ganito po na mods bigyan ninyo naman po ako ng idea how would it be tnx.saka opinion na din po sa mags 16'' or 17'' thank you very much in future replies

AFAIK, it may not be allowed to post items here for sale po. But you can try to post your canopy and tires at the "Buy and Sell Philippines" section of tsikot...

what i can suggest for you also is to advise your SA from where you bought your strada that you are selling stuff- especially the canopy. perhaps other perspective buyers of the strada might be interested. lets also wait for what the other BOSBs can share po...

mickey thompson tires are available sa auto options... 10k up ang price niya per tire. sa mags naman, medyo mahal and mahirap humanap ng 17" tires. pero medyo tataas ng konti ang ground clearance ng strada mo if you use the 17". merong 265/70/R17 ang mickey thompson, sulit ang performance nya
