Meeting time will be at 2:00 p.m. sharp at the Mocha Blends in Ortigas Ave. Extension which is in front of "The Gate" (the venue for the tsikot GEB). Then we head up to Antipolo by convoy for the blessing of our Stradas. After the blessing, we shall proceed back to Mocha Blends and assemble the group for the tsikot GEB.

Again, all are welcome to join the EB especially those who missed the previous eb. To those who will not be joining us in the blessing of the Stradas in Antipolo can meet up with the group at the Mocha Blends around 5:00 p.m. We hope that everyone here will be able to attend especially the tsikot.com GEB.

See you all there. Drive inspired.
Thank you.

*ALL NEW and CURRENT BOSBs who wish to attend the EB, your attention please.

for better coordination, PLEASE PM THE STRADA CLUB OFFICERS (av8or5, thepatriarch, moxxxs, pauland) the following:
- Tsikot Handle
- Your COMPLETE NAME

Dito lang sa Calasiao, then tuloy kami ng Bolinao. Enjoying the beauty of our seaside this part of the country plus savoring the beauty of the truck of burden(pardon my pundits). When we are going to Bolinao, di man lang umaangil makina ng Strada ko pagdating sa akyatan. Para bang maneng mane lang. Grabe ang truck na to, its almost as if you're riding a car with a V8 engine in a uphill road with a 45 degree incline less the gas guzzling characteristics. Anim kami sa cab, tapos loaded pa to ng mga pinamili at gamit namin mula Sta Barbara at Manaoag. Di ko pa masyadong tinatapakan yung accelerator ha. Wow, if I were to describe the Strada to a basketball player, this is the Michael Jordan of all the pick-ups. Sulit na sulit talaga at di ako nagsisi that I choose this over the Hi-Lux. Very agile chaka matulin talagang tinitingnan at tinuturo pag dumaan dun. Yun nga lang mukha akong drayber ng pamilya Purontong dahil nakashorts lang at nakasando ng wala sa lugar eh.

*StpWolf- welcome to the thread!

i'm posting this to ask you a favor: Can you JOIN US? because you are most welcome!

bro, we are looking forward to your Strada GL. i'm pretty sure the BOSBs will PM you. I think Mitsubishi has a new dealer in Alabang and another one in Las Pinas since once-upon-a-time! also, pls join the EB so we can fill you with more convincing words with the strada and join the fun as well.

the Strada GL is an astute choice in the entry level pick up segment and i'm glad you made up your mind! it is the ONLY ONE in its class with a 4x4 inspired 2.5 Di-D engine making 136(ps) smackers beyond the competition! The Hilux J has the same configuration BUT without the Intercooler- this gives 102hp only. The Ranger XL is old school from the previous generation- its Turbo Intercooler this time, BUT without the DOHC 16V CRDi wizardry. and what more for the D-max- Crosswind Engine at 81ps, it is indeed very bare to the metal and almost the same price with the Strada GL!!!

*Manila based BOSB- pls help StpWolf! thanks

Totoo ba ito? Me Free Rear Cargo Toolbox sa first 2000 units, e bakit walang sinasabi sa akin yung SA ko? What do you think that I must do, BOSB?

Parang mahirap paniwalaan yung free rear cargo toolbox sa first 2000. Baka first 200 lang. Last year kasi, mitsu was able to sell around 1700 stradas.

When I got mine in Nov. 2006, there was a free rear cargo box for the first 500 units pero di ko ito inabutan. Sold out kaagad kasi yung first delivery.

After googling, 1 PS = 75 kp·m/s = 0.73549875 kW = 0.9863201652997627 hp (SAE).

Finally got to use my 4x4 device.

The front of our house is site to new diggings for a new drainage system and road widening. It rained previous afternoon and it was muddy all over the front of our gate. I usually park rear first to our garage so I will have an easy time when leaving the house the following day.

On my first attempt on backing tangentially, my rear wheels slipped with my strada shifting to the side. It was less than an inch that I almost hit the opened gate with the side of my truck. Whew!!! Almost.

I moved forward and on the second attempt on backing, I thought of using all my 4 wheels. And there, my backing was a breeze. Got inside safe with my strada unscathed. Panay putik nga lang strada ko.

Just sharing.

I will definitely join, but not sure about the EB. Thank you for the technical comparisons, this is what I like about the thread. Actually, for weeks now I've been getting tidbits from the thread. I have copies of specs for Hilux J, Isuzu LT and Strada GL and the stuff you guys write helps me make sense of the numbers and also clarifies the question "will it suit my needs".
