hahaha woops... what kind of rear spoiler is it? at first i wanted to modify a spoiler that kinda looked like the one from the mitsubishi thailand site, but after thinking about it.. we ended up going with a sportier look... if i'm not mistaken, the design is off of the trd spoiler of the fortuner. also kinda looks like the spoiler of the STI.

I just had my 1000km check-up. Well, it cost me 8k++ because they used synthetic oil. Is it really necessary to use synthetic at this early stage of my montero?

nwei, I decided to change my low to 6000k. Waiting for stocks nalng. Medyo nadidiliman nga ako sa 8000k, nka tint pa naman ako.

Iceman, i agree with mayor.. the 8000k is primarily for the looks rather than the functionality. I noticed on your pic against the wall that your low beams have distance but the fogs aren't doing what they're suppose to be doing and your beam isn't getting the closer areas. But nevertheless, those are nice HIDs. how many watts are the ones you got? 35watt output? china or taiwan? that's the same brand someone else is selling in another forum or something right? priced less than 10t ba?

Glixxer, he mentioned that his low beams are 6000k and the fogs are 8000k so that's why it looks different.

Mayor, by april siguro, i might be confident enough to post full pics with the rims. hehehe as of now, di pa talaga. note that i said maybe ah...

I installed an APEX'i turbo timer in my Monty and once you get out of your car and activate the alarm you should walk away from your monty with no issues (regardless of Turbo Timer brand).

I agree with earlier assesment that your alarm might be in Valet Mode.

Code alarm has a standard way of kicking it out of valet mode just go ahead and check the web site.

I already checked and even activated it in Valet Mode. I read up and tried it. Still no luck. The Valet mode is activated when your indicator lamp (blue led) turns solid right?

I still can't arm/lock the car if the engine is running. I will have to visit Mitsubishi for this. Will also remind them of my manual! Hassle talaga.

Yup its better to have 6000K than 8000k.. As what NTYcE said 8000K kasi is more on the porma side rather than functionality.. What's the next thing you're gonna do with your monty? rims, audio set up?

Mas maayos pag naka install na Turbo Timer removes the need to wait. I installed a APEX'i na pen type mahal pero at least i get the quality.

I can imagine napamura sya when he heard the KABOOM! sa likod nya. At least Fortuner ang bumangga siguro naman may insurance yon. Potah kung ang bumangga doon Jeepney na pam pasada potah.... sapakin mo nalang (lalo na if he gives you attitude!) wala naman kasing ma babayad yung mga yan eh maski participation lang.

Anyway...haaaaaaaaay taena bad trip ma damage parang di na virgin!

Yung sa akin windshield lang eh na badtrip na ako eh pero at least yun pa lang (at sana yun lang) ang battle scar nya. la pa ako door dings and scratches.

Bro,

I was planning to put on the same size rims and tires they measure up to the ride height and profile of the stock tires so they should be fine.

What stopped me to purchase the mags is the design. I am waiting for something more unique.

A friend who has a tire shop offered me Lenso rims with Lexani tires same exact specs you have at around 80k.

Post pics once you get your new shoes on.

Pag naka Valet mode i think your doors wont lock automatically. Have you tried it OUR of valet mode?

Paturo ka sa technicians sa loob how to go about the alarm. I did. Tapos pa turo mo rin kung saan yung valet switch mo.

Sad to say minsan kasi pag nabentahan ka na di ka na naaalala.

Also ang tanong rin is kung tama yung pagka wire ng Turbo timer mo or if its compatible to the alarm natin na Code Alarm.

The installer who installed my turbo timer told me of incompatibility ng turbo timer sa ibang alarm.

Buti nalang ang APEX'i no issues. So yung PIVOT/RAIZIN should be fine as well.

this is only my opinion and other may think otherwise.. but from you pic against the wall. looks like your low beam is lighting up the areas that its suppose to.. but your fog lights seem to not light up the near or the even lower areas.. as if na, if your on the road, your fogs won't allow you to see those pot holes that just come out of nowhere. I think it might be the 8000k nga.. i'm sure the 6000k will add a lot more in terms of brightness.

i do really like your pic in the dark with just your HIDs.. ma try nga yun when my car comes out of the shop in about 2-3 weeks time.

sorry dude, the spoiler hasn't started being modified yet since the chin first. i'll drop by again in a few days and see if they have anything with the spoiler na.

like i said before, if anyone is interested or even just curious, just go to ATOY'S BODYKITS on west ave. Look for atoy. Just tell him you wanna see the kit for the MS, and if you drop by within the week you'll probably get a glimpse of modifications of the kits on my montero. Ah yeah, might not be able to catch atoy since he might leave the country for a few days. But nevertheless, you can still check out the mods at his shop. But the problem for everyone right now is that there's no price on the kits yet since mine will be the prototype, when its mass produced, by next week or the week after, that's the time there will be a more exact price.
