[quote=ianmitsulancer;1294605]this is in response to what has been discussed at the PMS thread. i though of moving it here since it is more appropriate...

sir JJGF, based on my own experience with a/t trans, i have encountered the same problem too. seems like it takes too long on the 1st gear to trnsfer to 2nd gear. My 2003 vx2a/t used to have the same problem which the casa has not able to fix. After having my 50k pms, i decided to change the trans fluid and the problem wtih the drag was gone. Probably my fluid was overfilled. Hence, the high pressure inside the transmission valve body can actually damage the solenoids that control shifting. if the solenoids had been weak, they can cause the transmission to hold shifts longer then it should, or not shift at all. But, for the new MS ride you have, it might be the so called a little "imperfections" on some units that the others don't have.
just my 2 cents..(isn't this post should be in the "ISSUES FOR MONTERO SPORTS" thread)

Hey guys,
After all the hassles and the waiting, I finally got my new Monty (Sedona Red) and after the persistence of my SA in selling me the "package accessories", guess what? Of course they didn't install it when I got my unit, hehe... Anyway, the accessories can wait. What's important is that I got my unit na... Hope to join the club and the Baguio drive...
Thanks guys!

Sir XTO and Sir Prince777,
It's hard to resist the temptation to push it to the limit as the Monty is so responsive... No complaints so far... She rides like the wind and is super comfortable...![]()
congrats sir pinoy discus! i really love that color! deym!
pasingit guys... saan may nabibili nung 1pc spotlight na nilalagay sa roofrail? tnx!
Maangas talaga ang Sedona Red! (Translation: Sedona Red looks so pompous/arrogant on the streets!!!!!)
I have tried driving through zero visibility (at 8:00 p.m.) along Marcos Highway and I think HIDs will be of disadvantage for the driver as well as the incoming cars. I think HIDs as suggested by Sir Horse will create too much glare!!!! and i agree.![]()
