mic_21_ph...i'm not sure if its the same, but when i got my MS back in oct, it was raining quite a lot and after a few days i found that the wiper was not smooth (which i think is what you're experiencing too), all that means is that the blade is not clean enough or the edge is uneven. Remember, our MS before coming to us was parking in the plant under direct sunlight and heat and most of them will melt. Best bet, change the blades. I really like the bosch blades, i just can't remember the series but its the flexible one. That should be the remedy to your problem. Though the soap in your window washers are good too to help make rain slide off and make the windshield more slippery making the wipers have an easier time too. But best bet, change your blades and you'll see the difference. Remember, just because our MS aren't that old yet, dose not mean the wiper blades are in good shape since it was parked in direct sunlight for who knows how long before we got our units.

I'm use to that since a few of our cars, and yes my ms is parked outside under direct sunlight. It would also help if you got a glass cleaner, sometimes we have stains from acid rain that makes the windows rough.

hi sir mic_21_ph and pahehengs! ... i think this is a good idea but i suggest we just set a specific date and see how it turns out.. i think getting 10 participants is not bad for a first MS EB... as long as our objective is to get this going, we can set several EBs (once a month?) until such day that we can already form a core group who will lead CLUB MS! .. im sure every time we plan a meet, more and more participants will join... who doesn't want their montys be pictured beside other montys!?

Nope, Mine is the stock spoiler from mitsu.. siguro yung kakambal ko yung nakita mo sporting the 20" lenso rims. Mine is just 18".

to boybakal, mic21ph, gixxer, pahehengs, gabrcri, and president vice, it was nice to have finally met you guys last saturday. a bunch of nice guys, i should say! ewan ko na lang pag nagkakilanlanan na at nagumpisa na ang kantyawan.

to sir ooba99 of strada club, maraming salamat po for your valuable words of encouragement and advice re setting up our ms club. he went out of his way to speak to us and make us feel welcome. to sir av8r5 as well, maraming salamat for accommodating the monty group during your eb. and to the clubmazda3 and strada club members, many thanks for tugging us along.

malaking bagay ang magkaroon ng sarili nating monty club, according to sir ooba. there’s so much to gain and practically nothing much to lose. we acquire a wealth of knowledge about our much loved monty, not to mention gain a new set of buddies who share the same passion each of us have for our ride.

pero kelangan po ng active participation. and tingin ko ang critical dito ay dapat maging interesting ang club natin. indeed, what binds us together is our ride…but i think its more than that. the strada club, for example, as sir ooba added, does the fun stuff like scuba diving and airsoft, but are also into the serious stuff like charity work or fun run for a cause. so a car club may not just be about “the car”….its more than that.

now since we’re just beginning, maybe we can start with our primary interest muna: our montero (pwedeng to follow din naman kasi yung mga ibang interests natin dahil kusang lalabas na lang yan sa kaka-meet-up natin). one thing i noticed sa thread natin ay mahilig tayo mag-upgrade sa ating monty. so maybe we can invite car shops to offer and sell their montero goodies during our eb! or maybe we can invite a technical guy fr mitsu phils to enlighten us re warranties, technical aspects we should know about our ride, monty news, etc etc. that’s a start!

just a question , there was another tread talking about the faulty brake boosters in the lancer and outlander models and there is a recall in the US, yung alam ko usually car manufacturers use the same parts for all there models (parts sharing), are we affected kaya? and yung alam ko may brake booster din yung MS.

Hi guys, sayang di ako naka-attend ng EB. I'll try next time. I agree that we look on "other" things that binds us aside from our MS. Like me, i'm a gamer(XBOX360), and i also enjoy motorcycle riding. So maybe we could include these things to spice up our MS Club. This is just a suggestion though.

For the next venue, for those who do not want metrowalk, how about Starbucks in Kalayaan? I don't know kung Kalayaan nga yung exact branch, but i just saw it going to Global City, pagliko galing ka ng Kalayaan-Guadalupe. Hope to see you guys soon.

To everyone who replied on the "wiper" issue, thanks so much! A friend also suggested to put some "shampoo" on the water used to spray water sa windsheild (sorry, don't know what's it called)

Hi mic_21-ph, i also experienced the same thing with my wiper. I have used it several times pero garalgal pa rin yung sa tapat ng driver. Last sunday around 7.45 in the evening, i was driving from Angeles City along NLEX and buhos talaga ulan. Kahit na heavy downpour, sabit pa rin ang wiper . Napapangiwi tuloy ako kada squeak. Hehe. Pero sir, better siguro add windshield washer additive instead of shampoo. The latter might result to watermarks on your windshield pag natuyo. Unless it's a shampoo specifically for the windshield. If it is, balitaan mo ako please.

Okay din ako sa April 18. Sana naman by then i already have my car's license plates. 6th week ko na ngayon na wala pa ring plates, although naka 2,400 kms na ako and counting!
