GEN II local walang locking hubs (manual or automatic). Laging engaged ang front hubs and 2wd is by a central axle disconnect.
As per the symptomps you mentioned, it sounds like the balljoints or control arm bushings are bad.

JAY : Better check if the Gear BOx is already OEM, otherwise baka pang toyota or isuzu yan.
If that is the case then your pitman arm is probably welded lang. HAve this things checked first...this might be the cause of your under chassis problems.
San location mo? Minsan sobrang ganda nung welding nung pitman arm akala mo original.

The unit being converted opens up a whole new world of problem areas that need to be checked.
Check first if the steering gearbox, idler arm and pitman arm are of the proper type (converters like using Toyota gearboxes) and are properly mounted in the proper locations.
If you have a 4Hlc and a 4lLc setting on your transfer case, you have the Super Select 4WD system and this system does not have locking hubs. Although some mechenics who are not SS4wd specialists will recommend putting in locking hubs instead of actually finding the problem area in the front axle system.
Check the drive status indicater on the dashboard if the two front wheel icons constantly keep blinking when you are in 2H (this usually means a vacum problem).
