Need help for my L200 model 1997 engine problem

Hello to all my Tsikot member... Mga paps, pa help naman po, I just got this L200 pick up model '97, nag kaka problema po kasi ako sa engine Nya, last time pinaCalibrate ko po ang nossles Nya para po mar educe ang maitim n usok, then nawala naman po ang maitim n usok, and then po piña overhaul ko po ang radiator Nya kc my leak po, then naging ok naman po at d na ng babawas nang tubig.. Now po my problem is, tumataas po ang temp Nya pero d po ng babawas ang tubig, and then Namamatay matay po ang engine while traffic and kahit moving po ako... Pag ng step na p ako s gas para mg accelerate Namamatay po ang engine... Bumabagsak po ang menor Nya.. What do I have to, baka po meron makakatulong skin para Hindi ko npo sya dalhin sa mekaniko....thanks po....

1st check fuel filter baka barado.. and sabay mo na rin air filter...

Mga paps, pa help naman po, I just got this L200 pick up model '97( i assume yours is the 4d56 NA diesel, whats the odometer reading? how often do you use the truck?), nag kaka problema po kasi ako sa engine Nya, last time pinaCalibrate ko po ang nossles Nya para po mar educe ang maitim n usok, then nawala naman po ang maitim n usok, and then po piña overhaul ko po ang radiator Nya kc my leak po, then naging ok naman po at d na ng babawas nang tubig.. Now po my problem is, tumataas po ang temp Nya pero d po ng babawas ang tubig (i think this is the tale of the missing/defective thermostat, i have the same problem before), and then Namamatay matay po ang engine while traffic (recheck if overheating, then check the cooling fans) and kahit moving po ako... Pag ng step na p ako s gas para mg accelerate Namamatay po ang engine (looks like an air leak to me)... Bumabagsak po ang menor Nya (nangyayari lang ba ito kapag mainit na?).. What do I have to, baka po meron makakatulong skin para Hindi ko npo sya dalhin sa mekaniko....thanks po....

You may want to have the injection pump checked as well as the simple things first, like v-belt tension, oil level, cleanliness of filters, etc.

Replace the radiator cap. Then check if the fuel system is ok. Fuel filter should be replaced every 10,000kms ideally if you use replacement filters lang OEM can last up to a year or about 20,000kms.
