My Adventure Spare tire was stolen!!!

pag nag lagay kayo ng spare tire nyo sa carriage nya sa ilalim ng van or auv, make sure yung pito/valve ay nasa itaas at nandun sa pinaka loob naka pwesto. kasi sabi nung bantay sa parking sa quiapo nakita nya pinasisingaw muna yung gulong then luluwag na yung carriage then pwede ng alisin yung spare tire. buti na lang yung sa bayaw ko naabutan nung bantay, akala nya kung ano daw ginagawa nung mama sa oto ni bayaw nung nilapitan nya nakita nya dinudukot yung pito ng gulong, sayang at nakatakbo yung magnanakaw, kuyog sana kasi madami na nagaabang ng kuyog sana, dami na din kasi nanakawan dun sa area namin.

hmm shows how skillful these thieves are, i tried removing the spare without disengaging the carriage release (well it was broken or stuck) took me an hour to bend/destroy the lock with a wrench

Hello fellow MAOs (Mitsubishi Adventure Owners)! Just joined Tsikot.com today.

Just got my MA GLX last January, and don't regret to have bought one. However, as my having browsed this forum may suggest, I unfortunately lost (got robbed of) my spare tire just the other night. What's worse, it happened in our condo compound's parking area.:mad:

The opinion of some of our 'mates about those varmint's tenacity to steal "our lawfully owned and cherished" spare tire, yun bang basta may bolt cutter at sapat na tiyaga, mananakaw at mananakaw pa rin yung gulong, i believe holds (much) water.

May kadena at lock yung spare tire ko pero nanakaw pa din. Nakakapika talaga!!! I blame it on the lack of responsibility of the guards hired by our motor vehicle association kaya nagawang manakaw yung spare tire ko. :rant:

But what has unfortunately been done, is done. I gained much insight from the posts on my options and diskarte on how to (probably) better secure my spare tire, aside from deciding to have my car parked at my slot in the office (just a 10 minute walk from my home), instead of parking it at home.

Sad to hear that you lost also your spare tire. walang sinasanto ang magnanakaw.
I do experienced also tire lost when I have my 1st gen. adventure.

I was also a victim. my spare tire was stolen a year ago. I pinasyal ko ang aking in-law sa Luneta. I parked my ride sa parking area on the right side of grandstand. Me lumapit pa nga sa akin na watch your car boy kaya tiwala ako. when we return i did'nt bother to look my spare tire and only when we arrived home and do the cleaning when a noticed na wala yong tire. Now nakakadena na yong spare tire para sigurado.

ito ba yun sa Kalaw St. sa Luneta, mintik na ako dyan last dec. 2 lang. I parked there kasi maluwag at malapit sa manila pavillion. pagbalik namin ng wife ko, maluwag at loose na yun door handle ng passenger side, hindi na nag-snap back in place, mukang pinuwersa. when we got back, I got suspicious na kasi may isang batang may cellphone na pilit tinatanaw yun loob ng chevy venture van ko from the front. (sa sides kasi super black tint ako). then yun na nga after that, umalis yun bata at napansin ng wife ko yun handle.

I believe they were trying to get in, kasi nasisilip nila yun projector screen na dala ko. kaya ingat kayo sa lugar na yan. may police outpost pa sa kabila. I heard stories before about cars being carnapped in front of Manila doctors hospital dyan din sa Kalaw.

mga sirs, i can now be included on the list of adventure owners whose spare tire got stolen. i am positive that this occured in sm city north edsa cyberzone parking 3J. what's worse naka masterlock cable yung spare. i'm sure na kasabwat yung lady guard dahil nde siya umalis sa tabi ng adventure ko. i spent 6 hours shopping kasi last dec 20 between 3pm-9pm for the school christmas party of my kids. i only realized that the spare was missing when i went to sm san lazaro. i first filed the report there thinking na duon nanakaw. ang sabi pa ng guard sakin baka lang daw naiwan ko sa bahay. diyos ko po!!! spare tire iniiwan sa bahay?? anyway pinilit nila na nde daw duon nanakaw dahil wla pa daw silang incident. so nagisip ako and recalled where was the last time i used the car aside from bringing it to the office. then my wife recalled that while we were in sm north this pesky lady guard nga was standing there and sinilip pa kami nung we were about to board the car to leave. kung baga eh inaabangan kami. she acted really suspicious.kala namin ay parang paranoid lang kami kaso parang may bumubuntot samin na guy sa loob and tinignan kung saan kami pupunta. at first kala ko pickpocket kinutuban na ako nun pero nde ko masabi kung ano. so i am definitely sure na sa sm north nanyari. ang hirap kasi pumili ng parking slot lalo na kapag holiday rush. gulat lang ako na may baon na silang bolt cutter at nde sila nag-iwan ng any trace,gasgas or markings on any part of the vehicle. malinis ang trabaho. so nde mo kaagad mapapansin. next time kadenang pambarko na ang gagamitin ko. tignan ko kung kaya nila magdala ng acetylene.

Sir sorry nagyon lang ako nakareply, di ko na na try mag tanong sa blumentrit eh. bukas ma realease na yung MAGS ko meron na ulet ako spare tire pero nagastusan naman ako ng P4025 waaaaaaahhh!!!

yung brod in law ko, 1 week lang pagkadeliver ng L300 nila, nawala kaagad ang spare tire...naka partk mismo sa harap ng office nila

ako rin nanakawan spare tire last year sa outside parking ng greenhills. ang masaklap, hiram ko lang sa tita ko yung adventure!
