resistance is technically friction & heat is a manifestation of resistance (fraying of pistons with the cylinder wall). consequently, the less friction, the less heat. in this case thinner oil has the advantage over thick oil

another source of heat is the one generated by the combustion process in itself which is absorbed first by the sheer volume of the engine oil of your ride. since the capacity of the engine oil is fixed then thinner oil will have the same heat absorbing capacity as a thicker oil. 6.5li of thin oil has relatively the same heat absorbing capacity as 6.5li thick oil. in this case things are pretty much even

with both things considered then thin oil is better

Just follow what is specified in the manual. Do not use oil that is thinner than required, because it will get thinner when the engine reaches it max operating temp. or over if there is a problem with the engine cooling system.

same with me sir prince, my casa (Motorplaza Calasiao Pangasinan) agreed to install the BD28 but noted it in the service booklet. so far, i had two PMS now (20k and 30k) using BD28 and no warranty issues.

They encourage you to use Mitsubishi. Pero if you want to use Bosch or Baldwin, they will note it in your service booklet. Sa oil din ginaginawa ito when I decided to bring RP before. Depende talaga sa Service Advisor. Yung iba swabe lang sa mga ganyan they won't mind. Yung iba maingat, magsusulat sa service booklet.

You have to see the bottle. Kasi this was available nung March-April pa. Pero meron isa nag pa change-oil sa casa sa province yung old oil pa nilagay. Old stock na yun na inuubos na lang siguro. Pareho lang price e kaya nagdududa nga ako na baka repackaged lang e. Wag naman sana. Kaya dun na lang tayo sa better oils to get our money's worth.

Diamond Motors usually allow bringing customers' own oils. Basta OEM filter ang ineencourage nila if you are still under warranty.

Butchyboy, yung 15W-50 is the own recommendation of MMPC. It is in the service booklet. Dahil daw sa climate natin..

Ah ok, dun panu sa manual up to 40 lng nakalagay, di ko panu masyado tinitignan yung service booklet ;)

Meron na po bang nagpalit ng coolant. Ano po ang magandang gamitin saka ilan pong liter ang kailangan?

OEM coolant sir. Meron sa casa and El Dorado (cheaper). 8.2L lang if I remember it right. Rough estimate nasa PHP 240/L

If you want DIY, pwede din naman Prestone concentrate + Wilkins/Absolute water.
