Would it be possible for us car owners to reset the LCD screen once nag reremind na for next PMS?
Or sa CASA lang?
Is there a way for us Montero Owners to do it ourselves?

you want to turn off your conscience meter? your jiminy cricket?
why not just have the pms it is reminding you of?
and perhaps you can befriend a mechanic inside and ask him how to turn that damned reminder off..

You can reset, try this reset codes: 3280 & 6923. Touch the warning sign for 5 secs and key in pad will appear.

One more question, my montero's odometer is now 4700.
Oil level is still ok. Is it really necessary to have another "change-oil" before i reach 5k? My first 1k oil-change was fully-synthetic.

Or changing of filter (tama ba?) will do?

Replace oil filter then top off oil kasi synthetic ka na

Sinubukan ko to and typed 3280 and upon clicking OK, nawala ung warning. Para san naman ung 6923? Hehe.

Mga sir ask ko lang hoe many liters ba of gear oil and atf ang linalagay sa montero.. Im planning kasi na sa labas ko na lng ipapa change oil bibili na lng aq sa casa ng langis. Thanx in advance

I brought 7 liters of fully syn oil sa casa. Yung casa ko kasi allows me to bring oil filter and oil. Inubos nila (or wala nang binalik sa akin). I checked the oil level pagdating sa house. Medyo mataas ng konting-konti sa max level.

What should I do? Babawasan ko ba?

marami naman magandang gear oil and atf na papasok pa din sa specs , a lot cheaper pa

Mga sir question po for those nag change ATF using Mitsu SP III.
I notice kasi ang bilis nya mag kulay brown is this normal? I also notice yung shifting nya medyo jerky pati acceleration nabibitin during shift..
My EGR has been blank and cleaned pati SCV ko nilinis ko rin but same results..

So i opted to change my fluids... This time i use Top1 MV ATF and mitsu gear oils and transfer case oil..
Nung sa ATF dialysis very dark brown (almost black na) yung ATF na lumas galing transmission..

After changing fluids ganda na ulit ng takbo ng monty ko, shifting really smooth na ulit and ganda ng acceleration.

Around 23K km po sir... First time i change ATF it was 40K..
