March 16th, 2009 03:46 PM #251t PMS on my GLS cost P7,241.36 less P500 discount, P6,741.36 net. had it at union motors paco. the SA advised to do flushing which cost about P548 (not sure of exact amount). there were no shop consumables and the like charged to me, just some rags which wasnt really much.
re engine oil, the SA strongly adviced to use fully synthtic as this was the advice of the mitsu plant. initially, i planned on using regular oil and just use fully syn at 10kms pms. but i didnt argue anymore and acceeded thinking he might void the engine warranty if i insisted on the reg oil...kasi nga fully syn ang dapat gamitin ayon sa planta. he also mentioned that there was a customer before who insisted on using reg oil on his monty and eventually noticed that humina ang hatak nung makina. the engine oil used was motul H-tech 100 plus, 5w-30 fully synthetic.
days after, i searched on the motul website and found out that this particualr oil is for gasoline engines!!! so i called union's service to inquire re this and according to the warranty department, this particualr oil can be used for both gas or diesel engines.
after more than a week post the 1kms pms, i didnt notice any problems naman sa monty ko. in fact, parang medyo lumakas ang hatak.

March 18th, 2009 02:15 AM #29Had mine serviced at Union Motors Otis:
Perform 1,000 kms check-up: 407(free)
Cleaning materials: 150
Filter Oil: 1643.24
H-Tech 100 Plus 9 * 560 per liter = 5040
Engine Flush 3 * 173 = 519
Colored Rags 3 * 2.04 = 6.12
Total: 7358.36 less 500(discount) = 6,858.36 pesos
Overall service is good, only complain is that it did take us 3 hrs to finish, we're just the 20+ in the queue that day, while in toyota we only need about 2 hrs and were like the 60th. I think they need to hire more employees as MS would be a sure hit in foreseeable months.

Sir stubby, pansin ko nga mababa ang presyo ng filter na charged sa akin although comparable sya sa price ng Carworld na around P800 as mentioned by djin_xxx
sir pahehengs, umabot ng P7,500 sayo? may P600 difference tayo ah. Please check yung cost ng oil filter mo baka dun nagkatalo. P780 lang kasi charge ng Citimotors sa akin for the filter.
Thanks!
