If you are living in south luzon, anlu has two shops: along sta. Rosa - Tagaytay Rd after Nuvali if you're heading to Tagaytay and in Sta. Rosa proper in Balibago. Both in Laguna.

pwede mo DIY sir kung may tools ka.

assuming may blanking plate ka na...(order ka kay sir zix ;) samahan mo na oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, cabin filter o OCC para di sayang shipping fee).

see below yung metal gasket at blanking plate...


luwagan mo lang yung 2 bolts ng N16 (see photo), careful na di malaglag yung metal gasket kapag hinugot mo yung 2 bolts halfway. then isingit mo na ipalit yung blanking plate. once pumasok sa 2 bolts yung 2 butas ng blanking plate, higpitan mo na ulit. wala pang 10 mins tapos mo na yan. kung ayaw mo madumihan ang kamay, pwede mo ipakabit kay manong mekaniko ;)



kung may makuhanan ka naman ng scrap na plate at gusto mo na mag-fabricate ng sarili mong blanking plate, kunin mo yung metal gasket at gawin mong pattern. gayahin mo lahat except walang butas sa gitna and voila! meron ka ng blanking plate. HTH

Note. tanggalin mo ang baterya ng madali mo maikabit

yes, all are casa prices and are genuine mitsu parts. air filter cost around 2.1k yata. i'm using washable k&n drop in filter (nasa 4k) so hindi ako bumibili sa casa ng air filter. maguuwi ka rin lang, find a better foreign made synthetic oils like royal purple, motul, mobil or liqui moly. check out the prices there baka mas mura kesa sa pinas. oil filter brands like baldwin and fleetguard are preferred brands over sa stock filter. baldwin fuel filters are good too, pero depende sa model year ng montero mo. imo, it's not that kung mas mura diyan kaya bibilhin mo, it may cost a bit more pero kung way much better naman ang quality. so find the best bang for the buck!

Tama ka sir i was trying to find a better quality after market nga talaga ang kaso lang eh hindi alam ng mga parts dealer dito ang Montero Sports, wala kasi dito nyan ang meron sila which is bagong labas palang eh yung Pajero Sports which most likely equivalent ng Monty natin. Nung naghanap ako sa parang banawe dito hindi nila alam kapag sinabi kong Oil Filter para sa Montero Sports 2010, pero kapag sa Mitsu dealer dito nache-check nila sa computer and they know right away. Balak ko ay bumili muna ng isang oil filter sa mitsu and gawin kong sample. Same thing with the air-filter. As for the Oil naman the brands you mentioned were not familiar in here pero kung maibibigay mo sa akin ang viscosity i will try to find out. does anybody mix something on thier fuel tank or engine oil to improve engine performance?

Sir sa Sta. Rosa, Laguna on the way to Tagaytay it is along the road po just after AUP if i am not mistaken. napaka helpful ng mga mekaniko, even the owner himself will give you some advise, opinion and suggestions. They have two shops the other one does some complicated work like bodyworks, painting, undercoats, autoelectrical, etc. name it they will find a way to do it.

Sir Zix saan ba location mo? i am from Sta. Rosa kasi malapit sa Nuvali, balak kong ipa-blank yung sa akin pati na OCC, yung k&n Filter saka nalang pag-uwi ko tutal bagong palit palang naman yon from last na dinala ko sa workshop. Got your pm nga pala thanks. I hope you can do a home service kahit add nalang ako ng konting extra.
