every 10k kms sa Gen2 unit ko. pino kasi yung mesh ng filter element, madaling magbara ng dumi at usual cause ng check engine. but its good, its doing its job which is to filter.

kung Gen3 unit at Euro 4 fuel, i don't know baka kaya na 20k kms. ask bro Zix, he is servicing Gen3's on a daily basis[emoji6]

Hingi kpo Boss ng detailed quotation, pwede thru email po tapos ikaw po pipili nung items na dapat ipriority. Mine almost 5 years napo,aircon still untouched, cabin filter lang at purge ko ng lysol tapos bilad sa araw bukas bintana. Sana makatulong po.

Bro, 20kkm PMS ko sa Shell Gas Station a few weeks ago.... 6L+ of semi synthetic oil and oil filter...

I remember the casa recommending change of fuel filter at 20kkm, but with Euro4 ever since....

At 15kkm PMS at Citi motors, I waived the EGR cleaning (it is blocked) and iirc aircon cleaning... And they told me they replaced the condenser fan, under warranty...

Can you please share information where I can have my Montero's ac checked and cleaned? It's a hot summer and the ac is acting up. I think it needs cleaning. Please refer a good shop near QC. Thanks in advance.

Btw, casa quoted me 14k. I think it's way too expensive. Before that they quoted 7k.

Hello newbie din po ako. Pasensya dito ako nagpost ng tanong (new account=new thread not yet allowed).

Yung stock 4D56 ng 2009 Adventure po namin today is performing very unusual na. Kaka 70k kilometers lang this week bale hindi namin sya masyadong nagagamit halos noon. Pero kahit na madalas lang sa garahe hindi namin nakakalimutan palitan langis kung maiitim or malapot na. But hindi dun ang problema, alam kong hindi malakas engine ng adventure pero it went slower than usual pati batak. Dati kaya ko mag-overtake in light instances but now napansin ko hindi ko na magawa given na antaas na ng rpm ko at capable sa NLEX mag 100 kph with no hesitations ngayon gapang pa sa 80kph. Another case pa is lumakas sya sa pag konsumo ng diesel like just from our home here in Bulacan to NAIA 1/4 na agad ng tank ang konsumo bale everytime na luluwas kami we should atleast pump 500 pesos ng diesel. Gusto ko na ito dalin sa mekaniko but ayokong pumunta doon ng walang alam sa gagawin sa makina baka i-take advantage nila ako at singilin ng kung ano ano. Maayos naman si advie even after pagka-palit ng clutch at nagstart itong problem just 3 months after. Ito pa ang details ng advie namin para makatulong:

- Using Delo 400 MGX 15W-40 oil
- Petron Diesel Max-fed (Loyal dahil sa points)
- Just replaced with Exedy Clutch, bearing, plate (wala pang 1 year)
- Fuel injectors and air filter still unchanged since purchase from casa
- Last tune up was 1.5 years ago, gasket already replaced
- Timing belt also replaced
- No problems with radiator but never performed flushing before
- Tires are in good condition

Ayan lang yung iba. Pag wala kaming ginawa sasakit at sasakit lang bulsa namin sa pagkarga. Sabi ng tatay ko ipasakal daw eh ayoko naman mahina na nga makina hihina pa lalo saka baka umikli pa buhay. In other words hindi na sya economically efficient pang gamitin ngayon na madalas na naming gamitin. We're planning to buy a Montero na next year (sana maka-ipon) and torn between selling or keeping it kasi kung tutuusin ok na samin ang advie wala kaming reklamo sa size, ride, looks, etc. but ang lakas lang talaga sa diesel and as the driver nanibago ako sa pagkahina ng takbo kahit magisa lang ako. Alam nyo yun ung may matagal na kayong sasakyan na ginagamit na bawat apak lang alam nyong naiiba noon dahil kilalang kilala na inside.

Madalas ko makita ito na niilinis sa heavy pms 50k odo sa Master Garage Philippines, just ask sa kanila kung magkano.
