    Mitsubishi Motors will release this Wednesday,Oct 15, their Outlander to compete with Xtrail, Rav4 & d forthcoming 4x4 CRV...



    Its front body is similar as the upcoming 2004 Lancer .

    It's a Galant-based crossover ute. Powered by a 2.0l or a 2.4l I-4 gasoline engine.

    Haven't we had enough of these 'crossover'/soccer mom/grocery getter SUV's?

    When will someone ever come out with a Toyota FJ40 descendant?

    yan ba yung version na ilalabas? i think yung US version yung ilalabas dito (endeavor ata yung tawag sa US), the one with a whole LOT of body cladding

    not sure on that though

    On mini utes...
    I have yet to see a mom who uses these for soccer practice... hindi naman ganuna kalaganap soccer dito sa pinas eh. The soccer mom term is more applicable to countries who are reaaly involved in soccer :soccer:

    Oh and btw our pajero is a very capable grocery getter hehehe

    I thought there were no SUV rednecks in tsikot?

    KC, nasa 1.3M daw, sabi sa akin nung sales agent ng makati citimotors.

    pero ang sabi pa sa akin ay hawig daw sa Evo 7 yung grill ng Outlander.
    Pajero Gen 3 will follow late this year daw or early next year. nasa 2.4M daw yung gas version at 2.5M naman yung diesel, both 4x4 na....

    dpat yung pangalan g US version "Outlandish" hindi outlander hehe badtrip talaga yung new corporate look ng Mitsu...although the Evo VIII fascia sort of takes time until you get used to it

    for the 3rd gen pajero that will be sold in the local dealers,ano po ang engine ng gas and diesel nila?4 or 6 cylinders?etc.

    The Endeavor is based on the Gen3 Montero, which im sure you cant classify as a mini-ute.

    The outlander is also known as the airtrek in some markets. mas maganda yung JDM version. decent looking. outlandish talaga yung USDM ver.

    Hehehe. There are lots of soccer moms in AdMU. :D What is an SUV redneck? If there was a local version of a redneck, that would be me (I'm still wondering what the hell I'm doing here in the city). But I don't think I'm an SUV redneck. hehehe.

    Maybe I just the days of Scouts and FJ40's. Tumatanda na ata ako.

    We also have an International Travelall (spell check) languishing in a defunct rice mill. Hehehe. I must really be old.

    Too bad its not 4WD. Right now, it's wearing a 'Ghostbuster's' paint scheme. We copied it from ECTO-1 since they look so alike. :D

    BTTT:
    A 200+ bhp Airtek/Outlander might not be a bad idea after all. Just like that 280 bhp X-trail in the JDM.

    i agree, dapat for the 1.3M it should have the 2.0 turbo engine with 200bhp. Madami cigurado bibili nyan.
