Just like what they did with the Xpander.

If Mitsu prices this above 1.4M then buyers will flock to either the Corolla Cross hybrid, the Yaris Cross, or the Ford Territory instead.

Same, it used to be they offered good value and best in class features.

Now it's just the Xpander still with 2 airbags in 2024, 12 year old Mirage, and decades old L300. Montero and Triton are just par for the competition and priced as such, not really offering tremendous value for 2024.

Even Toyota is leveling up on the basic features of its volume-selling products. I guess people still prefer the "if it aint broke, don't fix it" formula.

standard na kasi nila mag bigay ng malaking "discounts". usually >100k for cars 1m-up.
