4x2 is single.
yes that is very reasonable. if those would last for another 15 years, that's more or less Php750 a month. I just hope all casas nationwide have the same price or within the same price range.

Some of us had our radiator repaired at CoolCharge (keyser) in West Avenue, by changing the plastic top. They will check the cooling system as well. Will cost you around 10k. Workmanship is superb.

Just a tip, technician/owner would suggest changing some parts like thermostat, radiator cap, etc., which is good for our car. If you can buy your oem parts from your suki in Banawe, much better so you can save some bucks. I noticed that some of their parts are more costly than the casa's price.

= tension lever : yung letter c shaped
= chain guide : yung nasa lower part color grey
    = camshaft sprocket, upper chainwheel
= gear assembly, pump idler : lower sprocket with gear, most expensive part but optional daw according to casa.

Although si PB magpapalit at around 180k km. Thank you for your inputs guys

May nakita ako sa youtube on how to check a timing chain if it needs replacing or not.

But yeah, sabi nila may ingay daw na na-cre-create ang worn out plastic chain guide. Maluwang na kasi siguro. But it is best to have visual checking.

Junerski, Meron ka maririnig na pag nag Rev ka going to 2k rpm, imagine mo chain rubbing on metal ng mabilis. Rattle sound siya. Kahit naka stop ka and laruin mo accelerator maririnig mo siya. Di siya sobrang obvious but alam mo may new sound yung engine. More truckish sound.

ok noted PB.. thanks. Noticeable sound naman pala.. Is it advisable to have it replaced say at the 150k km mark (as a preventive measure) rather than waiting for the rattling sound to occur.. or just maximize the life of the timing chain?

Thats good to know.. its indeed "maintenance free" as mechanics would say as long as hindi nag iingay.
