Mitsubishi Pajero Fieldmaster (Gen 2.5) [continued]

I had an amplifier and seps replaced. When I got the car the power windows and mirror are not working so I asked my driver to bring it back to the audio installer. They were able to fix it but when they started the car the ABS light wont go off and the fuel gauge malfunctioned. I brought the car to Motorix in Banawe and they checked all the sensors including the fuel float and they said its ok. Anyone had the same problem. Pajero CK 05 model.

Good day po sa lahat... Ang daming kaalaman ako natutunan dito. Binasa ko lahat from the old thread to this new one. It took days pero it was all worth it.

I think I maybe having a very unique problem na ngayon ko lang napansin. I have a 2007 Gen 2.5 FM na running 42Km. Pag-nakaon yung aircon, meron sound na parang lumalangitngit na sound. Pag pinapatay po yung aircon, nawawala yung sound. Generally problem free po yung FM ko so imagine yung worry ko when I heard this unusual sound. Ano po kaya ang cause na sound na yun. Sana naman nothing major.

Mga Pajero experts, ano po kaya yung sound na yun na lumalabas lang pag naka-on ang aircon?

Must be bearing ng compressor yan sir, pacheck mo na agad para maagapan

Thanks for the reply, sir. May napagtanungan din ako, baka daw yung belt. Baka malutong na daw at dapat ng palitan. Isip ko naman, bigla na lang lumabas yung sound na yun. Considering the age exactly going 5 years old yung FM *42K km na tinakbo, kailangan ko na ba magpalit ng mga belts? Sorry po, kc, I really do not have any idea sa Pajero maintenance. Ipacheck ko na rin po siguro to eliminate mga possible causes.

Thanks for the reply, sir. May napagtanungan din ako, baka daw yung belt. Baka malutong na daw at dapat ng palitan. Isip ko naman, bigla na lang lumabas yung sound na yun. Possible din sir yung a/c belt kasi everytime lang i-on mo ang a/c tsaka siya nagkasound eh. Pwede rin na okay ang belt mo pero stucked-up compressor mo kaya forced ang belt to make that sound. Medyo matagal na yung 5 years sir, pacheck na ninyo mga belts*

Makapal siya, pantay sa pulley yung belt dapat at may play pa rin dapat yan. A-35 sa Bando yan so hanap ka na lang ng katapat sa brands na magaganda like gates, velocity, ferodo or orig bando/mitsuboshi. Yung may ngipin ha.

I will have all the belts checked when I go for preventive maintenance next month. Wala na kasi time kaya I thought of just going to Banawe to buy the needed belt. So far naman, my FM is problem free, except for the annoying ac belt noise that is now fixed.

Yung alternator natin pre 9.5x975 ang size ng v-belt.

I experienced the same. Replaced the belts yesterday and nawala yung ibang noise and vibrations. maluwag na pala talaga

Bought a set of front facing 3rd row seats for the Gen 2.5. Kaso wala palang floor lock/latch yung rig. Anyone knows where I can get these? Thanks.

Sir madali lang naman magpagawa niyan if ever wala kayo mabili. Yung locking system naman nasa seat mismo eh. Yung sakin nga sir hindi ko na nilagyan ng floor lock mounting, hindi naman nagvibrate plus hindi nako nag cut ng carpet, kelangan mo mag cut if ever mag lagay ka ng floor lock mounting

Thanks. Nakabit ko na and so far wala namang vibration kahit nakababa ang seats. Di ko din binutasan ang carpet. Will check with El Dorado if may part na ito plus of course the 3rd row seatbelts. Appreciate if you can send pics of your 3rd row seat. If I remember correctly you had headrests installed right? I have a pair of OEM Fieldmaster headrests - yung may butas sa gitna - and I'm also planning to have them installed in the 3rd row seat I got. Thanks.
