di nga pb, 325k lang ang tawad sa yo? may nakikita kasi ako na gen 2 sa car finder, around 400-500k pa siya. may kilala ako na binenta ang gen 2 niya ng 350k pero laspag na laspag naman. walang aircon, kupas na pintura, bubble at kupas na tints, madungis. at 360-370k naman dun sa kinakapatid ko. kaso puro na daw yun banga at sira ang makina. parang ang mura naman sa 325k yan. depende siguro sa maintain mo. kung makikita ko ang pics, pwede natin husgahan yan
Depende sa condition ng surplus. Ako loimited budget ko so I bought a surplus. Yes, gumastos ako just like one normally would on a second han d pero ang nakakairita is mga mekaniko who as a group, seems to be opportunists, at gagatasan ka.
Sa surplus lang make sure na yung conversion from RHD to LHD is without hinang. Check the steering gearbox din kung may leak. Aircon ng ibang JDM problemado din.
I can sell my JDM pero at a higher price kaya lang Cebu ka pa. Used daily over 2 years and never nagkaproblema ang makina ni minsan. Kahit na nagkaproblema ako sa mga mekaniko all seem to agree no OK ang makina ko and binaklas ang A/T just over a month ago and OK pa daw which is why if ever I sell it, it won;t be low and I really don't expect people to buy it at my price.
Anyway, one advise offered to me by a friend who bought a surplus and which I pass on to others. Try looking for a surplus that is already owned by someone else here. See where it is parked and if it is used daily or madalas sa talyer. Try talk to his mechanic without him really knowing it. Hindi bali masmahal if you can ascertaqin na walang majopr problems and most important parts are already replaceds (so you don't wind up replacing them).
Ingat din sa local kasi many units are not well maintained lalo na kung driver lang nagmamaneho. A local is not necessarily better as they are both second hand cars. Your problem is to choose between a well converted and a well maintained.
I followed his advise but made 1 mistake. The brother of the owner owns a talyer which is why I presumed it was in tip-top condition. Later, someone told me it seems thathe easily had the small problems covered up or ipinaredyo lang at his brother's talyer rather than really fix it.
fcuyugan, gayan din yung interooler fan ko, bihira lang din umandar.lalo pa tagulan ngayon, normal yan. why not try na irekta mo for 1 day na umaandar parati just to feel kung may difference ba sa hatak, post ka pics ng PDR mo. para makita namin, nakakakatuwa nga na makitang dentless yung pajero.

nelany, thanks sa additional na kaalaman about dexron, thats why I love this forum dami ko natutunan.pinalitan mo na pala yung tail light mo ng led, kamusta siya? mas maliwanag ba than stock? post ka naman pics ng bulb mo. kakaorder ko palang ng para sa tail lights ko but 2 pcs lang ang mahal eh, 1,250 each bulb double contact led. 4 kasi tail lights natin.

ganito binili ko, 5 watts na LED. red ang kulay.
taz13, kailangan naka start ang engine bago mo check AT fluid level. lagay ka muna 2 liters then check and refill until you reach the hot limit. habang naka tapak sa preno laruin mo dapat yung gear shift from park to L before checking.

PB, yung LED na nabili ko ay yung wrap around na LED para magamit yung reflector ng tail light, color white. Pareho lang yung liwanag sa regular bulb. Score ko sa HK ng P600 for two before pa (Taiwan made). Ang alam ko yung red ay gamit kung clear yung tail light ng sasakyan para labas yung red color. Tingin mo rin kung ok din yung red sa red cover tail light. Post ko yung pics pag nakunan ko.

Which Color LEDs should I use?
For best results the LED color should be the same as the lens color. As an example: a red lens will filter out all but the red portion of the light so if the light is all red, none or very little light will be blocked by the lens. The light from a White LED contains very little light in the red portion of the visible spectrum so most of the light would be filtered out by a red lens.
taz13, 750rpm ang idle speed ng 4m40, nakalagay din under the hood. but ginawa kong 800 saakin kasi pag nasa drive siya habang naka stop, bumababa ng konti yung rpm. Im trying to save my supports kaya tinaas ko.it depends din kasi sa supports mo kung pasira aalog yung engine at 750 rpm. kaya depende rin.
sa atf dip stick medyo may laban nga pagbinabalik. im not sure kung tama alala ko but merong line sa baba ng HOT. wag ka lang lalagapas sa highest line. take extra care of our AT tranny, nababasa ko rin kasi sa ibang foreign pajero forums na ang tranny ng mitsu is not as realiable as toyota. kailangan ng extra TLC sa langis.

regarding my last post, everything underneath was fine except for the pitman that had to be replaced.. assuming lang ako masyado hehe. thanks for your inputs. yung gearbox ko is ok pa daw the fluids look like it was coming from the a/c compressor. took it to aves a/c's * speaker perez (great a/c shop btw) they said obserbahan nalang muna in the meantime... so both the gearbox and the compressor was cleaned para madetect kung saan manggaling ang oil. update ko nalang kyo.

Saan po ba makikita ang sending unit ng oil pressure? Nawala po kasi ang indicator sa dahboard pag nasa "on" position ang susi. Di ba dapat naka-on muna sya then mag turn off after na mag start?

1. there's this noise near the driver's door. sabi ng isang mekaniko sa may amin maaaring kung isa sa mga hinges ng pinto ay kailangang tingnan baka aluwag daw. kaso hindi sila gumagawa nun.
2. i have this nasty kalampag sound in front whenever i turn left or right. sabi sa akin nung same mekaniko, maaaring kulang ng greasing yung isang nipple ng pangilalim ko. they also said they can't help me with that kasi kailangan daw mahaba ang pang grease nito.
