jru120, thanks sa info, maaga pala bumigay alternator mo, naiisip ko lang malakas makasira ng alternator is water, lalo na pag nag papa engine wash.



anyone na nagpalit na ng water pump?

i just had my water pump replace last week. replacement kinuha ako. i thinks GMB ung brand, and had it replace in motech.

dach, ilang kms bago bumigay waterpump? ano signs pag sira waterpump?

glowplugs dito ko lang nabili sa amin, local autosupply lang. Im not sure sa manila kung saan meron. sa eldorado dati nakabili din ako ng replacement.
= remove intercooler
= disconnect battery terminals para safe lang
= remove the connection platel. ito yung bakal na pazigzag shape na nagdididkit sa glowplugs.
= before removing glowplugs make sure malinis sides niya baka mapasukan ng dumi yung butas. use toothbrush sa sides ng glowplugs.
= remove glowplugs check for continiuty using multimeter, and resistance is 1 ohm dapat pag ok.
= replace glowplugs, make sure same length ng old and new plugs, dont overtighten. then balik nalang.
= mga 20 minutes kaya na to. its very easy. :havefun:

nandiyan yung how to replace glowplugs, meron din sectional view. makikita niyo paano yung tensioner and guide ng timing chain.

about 150k kms nko. mapapansin mo may tutulong water from water pump. sa una mahina lng kaya papalit na kagad para iwas overheat.

Thanks sir pb, i found one at West Ave din. Kakabili ko lang kasi ng 285 bridgestone tires, gusto ko sana upgrade naman rims.

Any owners here whos using the same dakar rims? feedback din kung san nyo po nabili.

gents, i have been reading up on threads for the past 4 days and am amazed on how much i picked up from you the guys. i can only reminisce on the times that i had a problem with my ride and walang kausap nor opinion on what to do but after reading up on pajerokid and promdiboy and the rest muntik ako maiyak dahil dami palang solusyon...mintil ko na benta gen 2.5 ko, ngayon mahal ko na rin siya ulit. thanks a lot and more power!!! 4 days na ko hindi trabaho basa lang dito..hehehe.

BTW.nag canvas ako ng ralliart mags sa banawe at west ave, alangya 25k na ang isang set last year 18k lang..tas ang trade in ng orig mags ko 5k nalang isang set...

fieldmasterph, hindi ba sumasayad yung 285? sa 275 kasi super duper lapit na. and pag 275 ilagay sa oem 16x7 rin medyo nakalabas na yung sidewall:arms:, dapat 16x8 rims na kung kasya sa pajero. im not sure kung yung dakar ralliart rims na hanap mo is 16x8.

pajboy, befrore going to the major parts like injection pump and turbo. kung kumakain na ng oil mahirap na. but pag mausok ang unang itrouble shoot is airfilter, get oem if budget permits, and try mo gumamit ng petron diesel booster every full tank, tumaas na ngayon 50 pesos na ( sa 2nd full tank mo mararamdaman ang effect). iwasan mo rin yung biglaan tapak sa accelerator. kahit anong diesel pag binibigla uusok talaga. and yes lalakas sa gas pag mausok. because you will lose power and tend to step more on the accelerator. smoke is also caused by too much fuel in the mixture. :goodluck:

oliver1013, mahal na pala ralliart, but yung trade in ng rims mo is pwede na. I only sold my 4 rims at 6k dito sa forums.mga 2 months din sa forsale section bago ko nabenta. problema kasi sa unang labas na rims nagkakaugat ugat yung chrome ng rim. kaya siguro yung mga later models painted silver nalang.

hayy.. my cooling coil went to kaput.. may 2 butas so i had to replace na and had cleaning na din..

dami pa prob ng pajero ko.. does anyone here nag ka prob na sa a/t transmision?

dahc, how much kuha mo evaporator? my oem cooling coil lasted 5 years. replaced with oem rin sabay na drier. 4 years na tong gamit ko so in a few months papalit narin ako. buti yung sa rear ko untouched parin. problems sa AT, first step is to change ATF.

Btw, i checked back on the dakar rims. 17" pala is color gray and 16" is silver. Panalo din yung color Gray medjo parang matte. Kaso 16" na mga tires ko bagong bago pa naman.

May isa pa sana po ako tanung mga sirs, meron ako tumutunog na parang sipol sa rear side ko. Sumasabay sya sa ikot ng gulong, minsan pag mabagal sya lumalabas pero pag mabilis wala naman. Any idea guys na naka experience ng ganito?

Good day sir, regarding ralliart magwheels.. same price lang ba yung size 16 and 17? how much exactly? where in west ave did you see them? about the trades naman.... 5000 for rims only or is it with tires na din?

fieldmasterph, get the 16's medyo mahirap pa maghanap ng tires for 17,s. mas mura pa tires. kung sumasabay sa preno yung sound baka ubos na lining mo. but kung kahit di ka nakapreno. pwedeng stuck up yun calipers or rear wheel bearings.


jcdc, welcome to tsikot bro. I dont think kakasya yung rim ng gen 4 sa gen 2.5. kasi may front hubs. dapat yung rim mo butas yung gitna para sa hub, hindi ko pa nasubukan but naisip ko lang. but kung 4x2 ka baka pwede.

jcdc, welcome bro. Yung sa ralliart nakalmutan ko pangalan eh pero 2 yung natanungan ko sa west. Una yung malapit sa edsa asa right side sya and the other one sa harap ng miller.

pb, natawa ako dun sa icon mo ah. parang ganun nga ginawa ko sa air filter para makuha yung fins. :chop: para san ba yung fins? first 2 days sa pagpalit ko ng air filter ang ganda ng takbo ng paj ko. mas may power sya pero kahapon parang mabigat dalhin replacement air filter lang pinalit ko
