Panawagan sa lahat ng Montero owner model 2010 to 2015: Malinaw ang sinasabi ng kautusang ito ng DTI kaya makipag ugnayan na kayo agad sa inyong Mitsubishi dealer para mairehistro ang inyong claim at ng malunasan na ang inyong takot at pangamba na baka kayo na at mahal nyo sa buhay ang sumunod na biktima ng SUA ng Montero.
Sa aking paniniwala, ay sapagkat sa umpisa pa lang ay niloko tayo ng Mitsubishi sa pangakong SAFETY, COMFORT and PEACE of MIND, ngunit ang idinulot sa atin ay Takot at pangamba, ay marapat lang na bayaran nila pabalik ang ating mga Montero sa orihinal na halaga kung magkano natin ito binili sa kanila.
At bilang isang mabuting mamamayan, tungkulin natin na ipaabot ang balitang ito sa boong sambayanan, magagawa natin ito sa pamamagitan ng pag LIKE and SHARE

Ang reason ng SUA is faulty pedal design that is not idiot proof enough. MMPC can simply point out the Strada with similar pedals...

Pag appeal ng Mitsubishi sa DTI, alam na kung ano ang kasama sa appeal na yan... Masaya ang mga taga DTI ngayun.. Babaliktarin na ng DTI ang decision.

Nais kong ipaabot ang aking pasasalamat sa mga taong sa pagnanais na na ipagtangol pa ang Mitsubishi, ay pinagsa salitaan ako ng hindi maganda tulad ng, Matandang tanga, gago, baliw, dati daw akong pasyente sa Mental at iba pang mapang insultong salita and yes mga death threats.
Kinausap ako noon ng mga admin ng SUA page na ito para idelete ang mga Bastos na komento laban sa akin at iban ang taong involve, pero ang sabi ko sa kanila ay "Huwag, they will be the ones to help us to keep the Fire Burning, malaki ang maitutulong nila sa atin para manatiling buhay ang isyu ng Montero "

Sobrang nakamamangha ito. Heto ang Chronology of Events tungkol sa Recall decision ng DTI;
1. Early morning of May 23, nakatangap ako ng info na may decision na raw ang DTI tungkol sa SUA ng Montero.
2. 8am the same date, agad akong lumakad pa DTI Makati para alamin at kumuha ng kopya kung meron nga. 1.30 pm DTI na ko.
3. Ang receptionist sa pagkapasok ng building, tapos kong magpakilala at sabihin ang pakay ko ay ipinaka usap ako sa isang babae sa telepono.
4. Inamin sa akin na meron ng lumabas na decision first week of May, at nabigyan na ng kopya ang Mitsubishi, pero hindi daw kami pwedeng bigyan ng kopya, ang rason, Protocol daw.
5. Matagal namin pinag debatehan sa telepono ang Protocol, kung bakit binigyan ng kopya ang Mitsubishi at kaming mga nagrereklamong biktima ay hindi pwedeng bigyan, citing the mandate of DTI, the Consumers Act etc etc, bandang huli, umuwi akong Bokya.
6. Noon din ay sinabihan ko si atty Tumaru at agad gumawa sya ng formal request para makakuha ng kopya ng nasabing decision
7. June 5, lunes ng hapon ay natangap ni atty ang kopya. Kaya pagka gabi ay nai post ba ito sa social media
8. Kinabukasan, Martes viral na ito, at pagdating ng gabi ay lumabas na ang presscon na ito sa Bandila, na sinasabi ng DTI na hindi pa final ang decision dahil nag file ng Motion for Reconsideration ang Mitsubishi para baligtarin ang nasabing decision.

Decision still subject to appeal as Mitsubishi asserts safety of its vehicles
MANILA - The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on Wednesday ordered Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation to recall automatic transmission units of the Montero Sport released from 2010 to 2015 due to a defect in its pedal displacement design.
The DTI Adjudication Division’s decision was in response to complaints filed against Mitsubishi Motors for alleged cases of sudden unintended acceleration (SUA).
The agency found that accidents involving the vehicle were not due to SUA but because of a defective pedal displacement design, which rendered unsafe and dangerous 2010 to 2015 automatic transmission models of the Montero.
The agency commanded Mitsubishi Motors to cease and desist from marketing and selling units of the vehicle model in question, to refund those that have affected vehicles depending on the appraised value, and to make public the product recall order within 20 days.
It also instructed Mitsubishi Motors to recall the vehicles of the 24 victims of alleged SUA cases, and to give them a refund.
DTI said the decision was not yet final due to a motion for reconsideration filed by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines.
The complainant, DTI's Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau (FTEB), will have to answer the motion before a final resolution is released.
In a statement, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines said it was confident about the technical integrity and safety compliance of the car units in question.
"No safety-related concerns on SUA have been raised in any other market concerning the Montero Sport (2010-2015) automatic, of which 360,000 units have been sold around the world," the statement read.
In December 2015, the FTEB filed administrative charges against Mitsubishi Motors Philippines for the sale of alleged defective, hazardous, and dangerous products based on complaints over its Montero model.
