Mga mitsu employees yan from batangas port to cainta ang biyahe niyan. Alam ko per byahe ang bayad sa kanila kaya yung iba nagmamadali para maka 2 ikot sila pag dating sa planta niyan sakay ulit shuttle pabalik ng port.

Most likely not. They drive just as fast whether they have an escort or not. Typically those delivery drivers are doing 120-140 on their way to Manila.

You can still have runaway acceleration if you're not pressing the brakes hard enough. As happened in the Lexus case on the highway in the US.

Pinakita sa TV Patrol yung video. Di ko lang pinansin ng husto dahil may ginagawa ako. Two case yata pero the second one does not have a video. Pictures lang and testimonial from the Montero owner who said he doesnt believe about the SUA before it happened to him. BTW, the one with video happened with a senior citizen driver, retired military yata. It happened sa Marikina sa st. Vincent hospital. Very familiar area as I pass by there almost regularly.

Can't comment without the video, unfortunately.

Like I said, it's possible that he wasn't pressing hard enough on the brakes, but if he was at least pressing on the brakes, that is evidence that he probably wasn't pressing on the gas pedal.

It's legit. I personally know 2 victims of this even before it was sensationalized on the news. And both these victims btw don't know each other. Anway, why would these people put their lives, other people and their own cars in danger? Tsaka bakit panay Montero lang and not other SUVs or kahit sedan man lang.

HIndi daw kasi legit ang mga sinasabi natin not unless first hand mangyari satin yan. Yoko nga bumili ng montero. LOL. Rally na ulit mga montero owners niyan. Hehehe.

He's OLD, He's stupid-- Montero is a super powerful car.. SUA never happened to me, so it won't happen to anyone... Doesn't have money to pay the damages incurred... Insurance is only TPL?

The other incident showed a montero ending up in a mound of sand suspending the wheels. Its the perfect situation to video the engine revving wildly without any driver. But that didnt happen and the complainant didnt mention how the engine was stopped
