Looks like no pedal misapplication on this Cadillac too.

When push comes to shove. Im sure may mahahanap sila one or two victims na either naka inom, puyat or what not. When it happened. Yun ang dapat gamitin ng mitsu ph.
Damnit ive been watching too many law tv series
Bakit tumakbo daw?
Hahahaha.. Mas marami pala di nakaka alam ng matic kaysa manual
This is why everyone does pre-emptive recalls nowadays. Better to be safe than to pay a crapload in fines and to suffer negative publicity.
But then, after a brief dip, everyone forgot about it. Once SUA wasn't the news of the day in the US, Toyota's sales went straight back up.
The biggest danger to Mitsubishi is, IF it is proven that there ARE mechanical defects that directly cause SUA, they will be forced to pay a bigger fine. It would be in their best interests to disclose everything now than to give the DTI the fuzzy impression that they are covering everything up.
I thought the line: "There are no defects" was a mistake. They should say: "These are the known defects, and no, they don't include accelerator failure", and give the DTI all the info they need to make a fair, informed decision.
I'm driving a Fortuner right now. I can shift R-N-D-2-L up and down multiple times without pressing anything at all.![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Mitsubishi's SUA dilemma will be forever etched in public psyche, whether they prove it is a myth or not. It was the only SUV to have a blog for the condition. Many attributed "incidents" were collated in the blog, hence the saying if you repeat something many times, it must be true. Ever since the Bias Network focused it again, dumami ulit yung mga "incidents", kahit obvious na driver error.
Corollary to that bro.,- sadly, there's also a saying that if you repeat the same *story* over and over again,- no matter what,- it is perceived as "true" by the storyteller him/herself and the audience....

Uu nga, may epekto talaga yung over and over again na story.
Another SUA... another tatang and woman "victim" drivers...
Maybe they should increase insurance premium for the MS if the driver is either a woman who never drove/owned a automatic before or eldrly men......hehehe.

Natawa ako kay Karen eh:
re dumping of fuel - so you mean kapag full tank?
re pedal arrangement - so ano yung nasa kanan ng accelerator pedal?
Hehehe. Buti nalang wala siyang Montero.
Naku. May MS pa kayang nalalabas ngayon??
Better late than sorry.

That is interesting bro.
Can you share the link, please?
If indeed true, replacement of the CMOS battery should be done at least every year or x months, regardless of the mileage. Or, a warning light should tell the owner to have his car serviced, to prevent the "perfect storm"....
