I have not tried it in an AT car that I have used and I do not have a montero to confirm. Maybe other tsikoteers can confirm.

Sa lahat ng a/t car ko you can't shift the lever from P to R,N,D w/o stepping on the brake. Pero from R to N, D or vice versa no need to step on the brake so malamang same lang ang a/t montero na you can shift the lever from R to D without stepping on the brake na.

ah ok, I'm just wondering kasi sa akin from D to R you cannot shift without stepping on the break and release button pero R to D, di ko maalala kasi I always make it a point to step on the break and press the release button at the same time before shifting to D. Thanks for the info Sir!

2009 monty owner here hindi po pwede from R to N so di makakarating ng D yung shifter. You need to press the shift lever para Mailagay mo sa N or P

Yup according to MMPC 2012 models onwards have it.

you're absolutely right. if she succeeds in the litigation, that kitty would definitely be set for life (not to mention high on catnip as long as she lives)

she should get one of those primo ambulance chasing lawyers and sue those peeps and companies to kingdom come. her image has been ruined - especially among her very judgemental furry friends and i'm sure at least one of her 9 lives have been used w/ that stupid incident.

From the full vid it looks like 2nd driver doesn't know how to use an a/t and/or isn't used to a powerful engine. I've seen accidents like this before. Not as dramatic but it's always a guy used to driving a really slow m/t car driving a powerful a/t car for the 1st time. They always grossly underestimate gas pedal response. 2 of those times it happened in a garage.

This particular incident is bad news for real SUA victims if ever there are any. Future claims will appear dubious.

i think hindi nga marunong sa A/T. possibly sanay sa M/T where if you depress the clutch, you can "pump" the accelerator. then baka nagulat sa A/T when he stepped on the accelerator, ayun, SUA na.

ANAK NG TETENG ang lakas magreklamo nitong naka white montero na to eh d nia alam pinahamak nia pa sa sarili nia sa pinakita niang video, bias talaga abs-cbn hindi naman pala full video ung pinakita nila nung binalita nila un buti na lang nilabas ng topgear ung full video nun mas malinaw pa sa sikat ng araw na driver error sasabihin nia umapak cia sa preno nung huli na halos pinaggigilan nia pa nga ung accelerator nung bumangga na cia as shown in the video watch again the 2:03 minute mark kung san nag surge forward ung sasakyan and then nung bumangga na cia umuusok pa ung montero obviously naka floor ung accelerator and then in 2:12-2:13 minute mark chaka lang umilaw ung brake lights nia tsk2 tanga2 amputa dun lang nahimasmasan sa katangahang gnawa nia d ko alam kung matatawa ba ko oh maaawa ako sa taong to ang kapal ng mukha magreklamo eh klarong klarong kasalanan nia naman pala haha

harsh na kung harsh pero kung totoo naman katangahan ang dahilan eh wala taung magagawa dun ayaw lang talaga nilang aminin pagkakamali nila
