Human error that happens most of the time s Montero model na yun. Which would mean, there really is a problem sa vehicle na yun. The pedal design and placement perhaps?

Feeling ko nablow-up lang talaga yung issue. May mga similar cases na nangyayari sa ibang brands/model, but this one blew out of proportion kaya naemphasize na kanya lang nangyayari. Also a factor is madaming may montero sport.

Bukod sa side to side position analysis na na-mention sa official investigation, mag nag-analyze din ng pedal height. Since halos same ang height ng brake pedal sa gas pedal, malilito ang muscle memory. Unlike daw sa iba na mas mataas ang brake pedal kaya mas na-differentiate ito ng muscle memory.

because gas engine models do not have as much (low-end) torque as diesel.
their drivers have more time to adjust their feet.
