BS! Hinde marunong yun nag Drive nanaman. Matanda nanaman

Narinig ko lang sa news na from Bataan pa daw galing itong montero and pumunta ng raon para mamili obviously ng electronic products.Kung ganon kalayo ang binyahe niya, nakapag stop over na ito somewhere sa nlex para umihi or kumain and in so doing nakambyo na ng driver ito sa P,R,N at D...so hindi dahilan ang unfamiliarity with the car.Simpleng error lang on the part of the driver ito and nataon lang na montero kaya lumaki at pinik-up ng media ang balita.Had it been a fortuner or a vitara with a/t (like what happened to me when I was rear ended twice by a vitara 2 yrs ago in a full stop along coastal road) ang nakaaksidente niyan sa malamang driver agad ang may mali at hindi na pag uusapan yang unfounded SUA.

it was my first time driving that generation (2nd?) of A/T Montero about a week or two going up Baguio.
if I recall correctly, parang same height yung brake and gas pedals.
i did and experiment moving the transmission shifter from D to R without pressing the shift lock but it would not let me, so may safety pa din.
Still its a safety failure design from mitsu. All my A/T car the only way you can move the transmission/ shift lever from Park to drive or reverse is to depress the brake pedal first. Without depressing the brake pedal kahit hatakin mo yung shift lever naka lock parin siya. The shift lever will not move
