if you were the driver, would you step hard on the gas pedal when moving a vehicle? or stupid enough that you would not know that you are stepping on the gas pedal and not the brakes... pag apak mo palang alam mo na na kung GAS or brakes yan...

if you are driving a vehicle for quite a long time... Its going to be INSTINCT... minsan magulat ka palang, wala ka pang nakikita na babanga sayo nag pre preno na agad tayo....

nag sua daw, because the vehicle daw is started from DRIVE position? IS IT just a jump? the answer is no... its a sudden acceleration from a standstill up to others are saying umaabot pa daw 50-60kph ang takbo...?

and if ever you really step hard on the accelerator.... it will not go from 0-50 or 0-60 in just a few seconds... hey, its not a ferrari..

IMO there is something that is feeding too much fuel on the engines to make it accelerate faster than normal....

kung sakin lang impossibleng mangyari sakin yan... at sa tagal ko nang nagmamaneho, its already 2nd nature to me ang driving... I think hindi lang siguro sakin pero sa lahat ng old drivers na din..

Parang 2012 GTV model yung nasa fb - pedeng may shift directly from P to D without stepping on the brakes. Sabi nya kasi after nya nirelease ang handbrake nagwild na without stepping on the accelerator. Meaning na shift nya from P to D without brakes

Could be the matting naipit yung throttle. Yung 2013 ko may hook na flooring para sa matting, aside from velcro para di mamisplace. May sticker din sa bandang ilalim na nagreremind na baka maipit ang accelerator ng matting. Told my wife to always check that.

Sorry but overseas ako ngayon kaya di ko mapicturean.

The usual lang ang sinasabi. Baka lang pumatong ang matting sa accelerator at yun ang magdiin sa kanya.

Pede yung accelerator cable. Pero bakit montero lang. Di ba pareho ng design ng strada.

Im thinking kasi kung 2012 pababa yung model, AFAIK naisshift yan with stepping on the brakes. Kahit stuck up yung cable o naipit ng matting yung accelerator, mapipigilan pa rin ng brakes yun kung nakatapak ka.

Hope ok na yung naaksidente. Medyo bother lang talaga yung wife ko. Dasal lang talaga and be extra careful.

100k+ kms na unit ko, mostly drive pa ni misis, so far wala naman kaso ng SUA na yan. sa grupo namin sa MSCP ni wala ni isa man naka-experience niyan. paulit-ulit na lang ang isyu mabagal pa nga ang response ng montero pag-apak sa gas pedal kaya kinabitan ko pa ng throttle controller para bumilis sa arangkada.

Nakita ko yung pic na tumaub.. kung nag lock ang gas. Dapat upon open e nag gagas na auto.. ang tanong by wire or electronic ba ang gas ng montero?.. pwd din naman nag lock ang gas pendal pero naapakan na dapat..

Base sa kwento na nabasa ko e naka taob na ata e nag gagas parin ang auto. It mean nag lock yun.
