Kasi alam nila may problema.

Ganito. Madami may ayaw kay bernardino bernardo kasi nga palaban (which for me eh ok nga tama naman pinaglalaban at sya bumubuhay ng facebook sua group.

Raffy Nieto shared a post to the group: Mitsubishi Montero Sport SUA Info Site.
    8 hrs ·

This may be a good time to share a post from 2 years back about an independent SUA Investigation by an insurance adjuster that was written WAY BEFORE SUA went viral. The most interesting thing about this report is that there was a SUA incident that happened inside the casa premises!
Mitsubishi Montero Sport SUA Info Site Public Group | Facebook

    2014 INDEPENDENT SUA INVESTIGATION REPORT

We managed to uncover a 2014 independent SUA report that was conducted by an Adjuster and Risk Surveying company. This was requested by one of the complainants at the time due to the conflicting claims made by Mitsubishi that SUA is always due to driver error. For purposes of protecting the confidentiality of those involved, some details were redacted.

IN this report, there are 2 VERY INTERESTING things to take note of:

    1. This report was done at a time when SUA was a relatively unknown issue.

    2. The second and MOST IMPORTANT point is that one of these incidents (page 3 under "Supported Facts") happened INSIDE THE CASA COMPOUND!!!. The Casa management denied it was about SUA, but interviews of the staff revealed that this was apparently a known problem among the service staff.

This seems to point to an attempt subdue the SUA issue. The fact that it happened in the casa premises and the that this didn't become common knowledge shows that there is good reason to really pursue a formal investigation

    yes. i agree.
    SUA is real.
the acceleration was sudden and un-intended.
but the cause... the victims blame the vehicle, but they have no proof... just the driver's version of the story.

so bakit maraming SUA? dahil madaming driver ang nagkamali.

there is nothing in kags's posted document, that lends credence to the SUA being caused by vehicle malfunction.

    my opinion.

Saka bakit puro montero?

the issue is there, but the loyalty is strong.

test parameters? what test parameters? not a peep!

if mitsu initially agreed to help but later on 'reneged', it's probably because of ..."you want to sue me? be my guest. but don't ask me to help you."

nung active pa yung Grupo Toyota Board someone posted an article about sua in the us and it involves toyota and volkwagen if im not mistaken, this was i believe sometime in 2014-15. or maybe even earlier. The Traffic Bureau or whatever they call it up there invited nasa to take a look at the software programmed in the computer boxes of these cars. To make the long story short Nasa's opinion was or rather they were skeptical about one particular code that in the event of a "voltage spike" (which almost always happens to all electronic devices) it could send a wrong voltage input to the sensor/s and may result to....you're guess is as good as mine

This report, just like Kag's, never made it to main stream media. Im sorry i cannot provide the link anymore as grupo toyota board is not working anymore so just take my post with a grain of salt so to speak

    Google is your friend...

Voltage spike wasn't concluded by NASA but by Ronald Belt

    https://www.autosafety.org/sites/def...celeration.pdf

    NASA and NHSTA conclusion

U.S. Department Of Transportation Releases Results From NHTSA-NASA Study Of Unintended Acceleration In Toyota Vehicles | US Department of Transportation

NASA engineers found no electronic flaws in Toyota vehicles capable of producing the large throttle openings required to create dangerous high-speed unintended acceleration incidents. The two mechanical safety defects identified by NHTSA more than a year ago – “sticking” accelerator pedals and a design flaw that enabled accelerator pedals to become trapped by floor mats – remain the only known causes for these kinds of unsafe unintended acceleration incidents. Toyota has recalled nearly 8 million vehicles in the United States for these two defects.

The post i saw was a side report from one of the engineers of nasa expressing their concern about a code in the program and since they lacked enough time to conduct thorough testing they just went on with report that you googled.

Thanks to the "public mindset" that SUA exist...

Yesterday my lolo got into accident. The car was a 2018 Honda Civic (FC) 1.5 Turbo. Pinalitan 2 days ago ng Steering Wheel Gearbox sa Honda Quezon Avenue dahil recall daw and free of charge naman. Kahapon lang ulit ginamit yung auto then nag loko. Base sa kwento ng lolo ko, Sudden Unintended Acceleration but this time no brakes. Human error? Nope! More than 50 Years na driving lolo ko, and Twice binangga yung nasa harap kasi wala brakes and umaandar padin daw. And 1 year na gamit yung auto. And mabagal siya mag drive. After repair lang nangyare. Good thing wala nasaktan sa accident. And yes okay lang po lolo ko.

So guys na may Civic FC na may recall. Pa check nyo maige unit nyo..

Honda Cars Quezon City / Honda Quezon Ave : Bago kayo mag release ng unit nyo after repair i’check nyo naman maige. Sobra delikado ng ginawa nyo.

Sharing this to everyone para maging aware po tayo. Thank you!

there's no such thing as stepping on the wrong pedal no?

    it's always the car's fault
