    nope....i swear....kami unang owner nung lancer ko...straight from casa un....i think meron post dito sa taas na ung older pizza e walang PS tapos ung mga latest na lumabas e may PS na....

    i remember we talked about this PS sa old forum, i started a thread asking kung pwuedeng i-PS ang 97 EL...taka nga ako nun kay meleagant8 na naka PS na yung EL nila...may mga ibang owners din ng EL akong natanungan at naka PS na sila galing casa yun EL...ano nga kaya????

    Guys,

    I for one own a 97 Lancer EL. It was already equipped with PS direct from casa dated July 97. Don't know if earlier releases don't have one.

    According to my uncle who is a buy & sell of cars, nagagawan na raw ng paraan para ma rotate yung digital odometer. Nothing is safe anymore in this digital age of ours.

    yup, caycski. pagkakaalam ko pwede nang baguhin ang odo readings. may paraan na. i had a clear view experience in this dahil yung pinsan ko got a 2nd hand car na nasa 14k pa lang odo. nung ipa-check nya sa kasa, 30++ thou kms na. tapos na nga yung PMS for 30k eh.

    i just don't know how they do this.

    guys may question ako. ano b ang specs ng LANCER 1997 GL, GLXI, GLX? i mean kung ilang valve? ilang liter? ilang km/l? all power? etc... thanx in advance sa mga magrereply.

    parang may thread na about this ah...

    ang GL and GLX 1.5 carb ata ang engine. 12v engine. power steering only.

    1.6 EFI and 16v naman for the GLXi (all power na rin).

    pizza people, correct me nalang if i'm wrong.

    tama lahat fafa miks.

    the GL and GLX variant goes at at average of 12 kms/liter, while the GLXi variant, goes at an average of around 9-10 kms/liter.

    pahabol lang sa power steering issue ng Lancer EL 97, I bought my lancer April97 for 365K way back then, no PS yet. Mitsubishi motors announced early May 1997 that all their vehicles would have PS as a standard feature.I think this was posted on local papers. So Lancer EL June (or May)97 onwards e legit ang PS nila. From 365k naging 410k that time
