Thanks sa info sir..

Medyo OT pero the DENR sticker on my honda city I just bought almost a month ago says Oct. 2008..I checked the dates on the seatbelts its September 2009 naman..I have to confirm the VIN though..saan ba makikita yung VIN usually sir?

tsk tsk..possible na display unit nga yung nabigay sakin and mukhang 1 year old na sa casa...haayy..

    Salamat uli.
Its usually a metal plate by the car's firewall, or the driver side door or post. You should also see it in your car's registration in the Chassis Number field.

Errr... the date on the DENR sticker has nothing to do when the car is made. Its the date that the DENR has approved the particular model to comply with environmental requirements. Talking about praning to the max!

the VIN is only as good as the data source

i tried checking the VIN of my montero on existing VIN decoder websites and got nothing. the only data returned was that it was manufactured in thailand. there was even no model, date of manufacturer, or even manufacturing plant

unless the data on thai produced vehicles are uploaded, then our only source of the VIN decoder is from the manufacturer itself

Let this be a warning to all those who are planning to buy vehicles from this dealership that practice UNFAIR TRADE! In short, MGA MANDURUGAS ANG MGA TAGA UNION MOTORS PACO!!

that's true. sales people often use this tactic to entice customers to buy their products. syempre, low quality ang mga freebies para mas malaki ang kita nila.

*sir rllopez - under warranty pa talaga dapat yan kasi wala pang 3 yrs ang sasakyan niyo.

i suggest that whenever we are short-changed, fooled, lied on, robbed, etc. - we should file a complaint letter to DTI right away! let's not take these things, be it big or small, sitting down. let's make DTI do what they are paid to do....protect the consumers' interests!

By the way mods, any chance kaya na ma move to sa Goon Squad para mas madaming makapansin ng thread?

    *lymar07,

For a buyer like you who purchased in good faith, this is quite unfair indeed. With your permission, I would like to refer this thread to my company's purchasing department for their reference.

Lymar, sorry to hear about what they did to you. But I'm glad to hear that that your case with the DTI is progressing. I wish you the best with your case.

Like other people who responded to your post, I too have my share of bad experiences with Union Motors Paco. This involves the window visor they attached to the Fuzion I bought November last year.

One of the visors was lost while I was travelling in NLEX a month ago. When I inspected the other remaining visors, I saw that they're all starting to peel. I was surprised because my other cars have visors and none of them showed signs of adhesive giving out, considering they're much older.

I immediately called the dealer and asked them to replace the visor. I felt I was in the right since the loss was due to poor adhesive and there was no abnormal operation of the vehicle. But they refused. At the time, I didn't really mind because the item costs only P2,000. I'll just buy a new set and replace the adhesive with 3M.

But, after reading the posts here, I realized that this is symptomatic of how bad their service is. I said to myself, if they can't even live up to a P2k item, what more if I encounter a major defect?

A piece of unsolicited advice to anyone considering doing business with Union Motors Paco ... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Remember, a vehicle is a big investment. You should give your business to a company who conducts itself with honor and who stands by their product.

Lastly, after reading the posts here, I'll recommend to my company to withdraw its accreditation of Union Motors.
