Pag highway or long distance driving nag 10 km/liter pa ito.

Lancer MX 2001 pare parehas lang yan hehehe. My wild guess would be 8-9 km /liter city driving. You won't see the jump on the fuel consumption of those cars unless you drive a Jazz or a Vios.

without having to do some tests, engine displacement would already be one factor in determining the FC.It would be logical to conclude that the higher is the engine displacement (2.0L), the higher would be the fuel consumption as compared to smaller sized engines (1.3L or 1.6L). And you have driving styles, car maintenance, terrain, etc to consider too. My Lynx in Baguio city driving (with all the uphill traffic) is 6 km/L pero 1.6L lang siya. Masaya na ako pag nakaka 7/L siya.
Maybe inputs from Galant and Lancer guys would be of help...

December 31st, 2007 01:04 AM #6no different. 6a13 yun sa galant vr. v6 yun engine. sympre mas lakas sya sa mga 1600 na 4cyl.
iba yun ride and comfort ng mid size sedan like the galant vs mga 1600-1800cc small size sedan.

One thing i've noticed about Lancers is that medyo malakas sa gas. I have friends who have different models of lancers (itlog, pizza pie, 2001 MX's) parang pare-pareho ang fuel consumption. The Galant as far as i could remember is much malakas sa gas compared to the ordinary lancer. Pero overall styling mas okay for me ang lancer compared to the other brands.

June 3rd, 2010 09:35 AM #8mukhang ganun na nga ang trend. less comfort, more fuel efficiency. more comfort, less fuel efficiency.
