Perfect shifting at the right RPM lang, ako natatakot ako sa power nitong Advie eh.
Try floor pedal, tapos mag-isa ka lang na sakay hehe:
1st gear: 0-20kph
2nd gear: 20-40kph
3rd gear: 40-60kph
4th gear: 60-100kph and so on.
Gas engines are powerful by the way pero mababa ang FC hehe.Last edited by p_borj; October 15th, 2009 at 08:43 AM.

October 15th, 2009 07:04 PM #383No TOK sound, probably coz 1 month pa lang unit ko. Nasanay na din ako sa rust, placed WD40 sa joints, di na lumala, though maganda daw yung STP. Mud guard, wala for GLS Sport, tried to search sa Banawe, kahit mudguards for 2004 models di sila makahanap ng brandnew. For your other questions, read the backtreads coz the answers to your questions are there.
Pag Philippine road naman we rarely need to go beyond sstained speed of 100 kph. Most of the time 50-70 kph nga lang. As such, you won't miss the Turbo CRDi of other vehicles.

yung differences nung dalawa sa SS pansin ko mas maluwag yung 2nd row seats tapos iba yung seats (leathered seat cover na sya) nya compared sa GLS, and yung sa 3rd row seats hindi na yung rear door ang gagamitin mo para makasakay sa 3rd row. and about sa speed for me its ok naman since hindi naman talaga designed for speed.

di ba masyado under rev yun??
ako kasi ayoko nararamdam at naririnig yun stutter/nginig/vibration ng under rev na engine. Alam nyo yun nanginginig na yun buong bubong at kaha ayaw pa magdownship?? at sa lakas ng vibration, sisirain nya yun engine support at dampers, etc.
although nagagamit mo yun torque ng engine, at dyan kilala yun diesel. your missing half of your engine can give.
i've driven lot's of different diesel engine, and have seen how others drivers drive their diesel engines. Diesel engines loves to be driven hard at constant high revs.
try it sometimes

October 16th, 2009 01:35 PM #387By the way mga sirs, i finished part 2 of my FC Test with my '10 GLS Sport. Part 1 i managed 12.++km/liter of diesel but under not so normal conditions (nasa past thread for reference). For part 2, I had my tank filled up to automatic shut-off during early morning, then used my advie for mixed city but mostly highway driving, keeping my speed mostly along 70-90 kph, rarely beyond 100, once up to 120 (got so bored). I upshifted at 2K rpm and downshifted whenever the rpm was below 1K. My fc is 13.345 km/liter after consuming 41.7 liters for 556.5 km of travel. Decent, but i still hope it'll improve pa kasi nasa 2,683 km pa lang odo. reading niya.
I filled up again at the same gas station up to automatic shut-off (same time, same gas dispenser, same gas boy) when naka 556.5 km na ako.
I hope other '10 advie owners will post their FC too for comparison.

October 16th, 2009 06:02 PM #389Mga ka-MAC, wala ba kayong napapansin na rattle sa rearmost door nyo pag nalulybak or rough road? I've been experiencing this since 3 mos. old palang yung Advie ko at ngayong 1 1/2 year na sya, parang lumala, nakakairita talaga!
. Dinala ko na sa casa twice pero ang ginagawa lang nila eh ite-test drive at sasabihing wala silang narinig
. Pero sinubukan ko minsan na tapikin yung rear door at naririnig yung same rattle that comes out kapag nalulubak. Meron ba sa inyong nakakaalam kung panong baklasin to at i-DIY ko nalang sana. 08 na GLS Sport ang Advie ko.

Sir tanong ko lang po normal idling ng advie.
A/C off and on. Nagalaw kasi yun tapos nalimutan normal idling RPM.
Thanks!
the coido brand i bought seems ok. at least, the hose hasn't perished, unlike my previous one.it...
Need recommendations on tire inflator.
