April 7th, 2009 01:34 PM #155Cons of advie, malliit space, not so fast acceleration, matagtag daw (this is relative)pros of advie, can cruise at 140 kph easily, 4d56 ever reliable engine is here to stay, and any neighborhood mechanic can fix it over time.the glx, glx sport and the super sport has the same suspension (the tagtag is lesser compared to older gens.) so value for money and reliability and durability...go for that advietest drive it so you get the feel before you buy.

April 11th, 2009 12:34 AM #158Sirs, with this thread being the MAC, I thought of asking you a question regarding my 2002 Diesel Adventure Super Sport.
Is there something wrong with my Adventure? We've been to Tagaytay Highlands and Punta Fuego and I have observed during those two different rides that the Adventure has experienced much difficulty in climbing those steep roads. My specific problem is that the 2nd gear just can't make it, so I have always ended up using the first gear until I reach the top. I don't know if something's wrong with my engine or my 2nd gear or if Adventures in general are not that strong climbers. On the otherhand, I don't seem to observe any engine and shifting problems whenever I'm on flat roads. Please advice po. Many thanks!

April 11th, 2009 08:34 AM #160* leiza25: Sir, may I know if you reached the 1st gear when you climbed those roads or were the lower gears (2nd or even 3rd) sufficient. Hmmm, ano kaya ang problema sa Adventure ko?
someones are (at last!) loudly asking, "why did they turn off the countdown timers?"
