MAC on DIY

Hello guys, does anyone here upgrade your sound by yourself in your ride? If yes, baka pwede nyo i-share what (type of speakers, HU, amps, wirings) and how (where did you get your diagrams) trip ko lang baguhin ang set-up in my own way but of course with positive result. Hope you guys have idea...

ako po nag upgrade pero hindi DIY,

HU--pioneer 7650
AMP-- for seps V12 705, for Sub V12 1507
wirings-- Dunno ano tawag dun eh..
seps--aura rpm650
sub --abc box dyna quest 12"

i achieved clarity IMO for much lesser cost than the high end brand...

Nag pa setup lang ako e.. pero 1 amp lang for the sub and seps.. di pa ako marunong sa mga wirings.. here's mine.

HU : Pioneer 1650 cd
Seps : Aura RPM 650
Amp : V12 MRV F1606
Sub : JBL GTO 1202D on ABC Box
Wires : di ko din alam..

I think lahat sa atin dito ganun talaga siguro ang ginawa when they upgrade their respective sounds. Depende rin kasi yan sa quality ng sound ng may ari ng ride. Hindi naman sa nagtitipid ako (pero ganun na rin yun hehehe) what I learned here will be share to you guys also someday. Matututo pa tayo plus sure tayo na maganda at pulido ang pagkaka install.
Thanks Boss Arvic and Kotzkie, I will consider your set up also, maybe using those items will save me more but with good performance.

Still waiting for others input, comfile ko lahat and I will start my project as soon as I get back.

pasingit mga bossing, for wiring, bili ka na lang sa Raon, I compared branded wiring kits to the wiring sold in Raon, halos pareho lang, makakamura ka pa. You can get branded RCA cables in banawe - available in 1, 3, 5 meters. Terminals available rin sa Raon and Banawe .

Ampli naman - you can either get a budget V12 or a 2nd hand old school ampli.

Budget seps/subs - Crystal, Targa, Aura

Yow Boss Mackie, Thanks for your inputs as well.

I found this HU here and I'm empress of the performance. I wanted also this stuff as replacement of my stock HU. Its really expensive but since I'm doin it in DIY mode, maybe I can still save something.

mga bro newbie lang po ako, nag DIY din po ako sa pag upgrade ng sound.

HU: Pioneer DEH-4650
Amp: V12 F1507 (red)
Speakers: on stock location
Front: 4" targa x series ( 2 way)
Rear: 6.5" targa x series ( 3 way)
Subs: 2x targa 12" dvc on ported box.

1st gen Adventure GLX, 150k++ on odo. Still in good running cond.

Hmm...baka magkasabay pa tayo. hehehe. Anyway, may wiring diagram ako sa attachment ko sa blog ko para sa plano kong setup. Gusto ko rin sanang i-DIY pero di ako marunong magbaklas nung mga pagdadaanan ko ng wires e. :-(

B2Bomber saan ka galing hehehe, Anyway, here is my update sa project ko, I already got Sony MEX-R1 hindi ko na itinuloy ang plan ko na Pioneer at hindi kaya ng power ko. What I did was, I purchased Necvox 7 inch TFT monitor na pwede sa ibabaw ng ng dashboard ng Adventure. MEX-R1 is a total DVD/CD player narin. I save half of the the price ng Pioneer na. The remaining budget ay para sa CD changer, Amp, speaker, cables and harness nalang. Like what I said, record ko lahat ng steps how to DIY para sa kaalaman ng kapwa ko MAC member.

Yow Guys I'm back!
Just to let you know that I also purchased Mp3/CD changer Sony Xplod CDX-757MX. I prefer buying Sony para maiba sa iba. The remaining items need to acquire are power cable and RCA cable, seps, subs and amplifier na dyan nalang sa Pinas bibilhin. Boss Arvic, Jake and the rest of MAC brod, wish me luck na maganda kalalabasan ng DIY ko.

Recorded po ang gagawin ko with photos and video start from top to bottom ika nga. Hindi po ako expert sa car audio set-up pero I'm a electronic enthusiast since teenager kaya dala ko ang will pag dating sa audio. Very basic set-up lang para madali mai apply sa kanilang auto incase gusto rin nila i-upgrade and sounds nila.

Pagdating sa brand as per Boss Arvic, Dyna Quest is OK. I'll considered that as well. In case nasa Pinas ako at gusto mo i-upgrade and sound mo, I'm willing to help.

6 days to go mga ka Brod. Makakauwi na rin ako at mauumpisahan ko na DIY ko.
All materials are ready aside from Amp, subs, and power cable. I have plan for enclosure for 2 10' subs. I prefer to built it myself. My plan is to buy 4 way Amp para sa future upgrade pa. Any body here can suggest the best amp and subs na tested na nila? SQ lang tayo mga ka Brod.

Hope everything turns okay as per plan.

kung hindi po kyo lean sa mga signature subs like kicker, DD, and etc...

Dyna Quest for me tapos enclose nyo sa ABC box.. ganda tunog... for amp RF maganda.

Ano yung brand ng HU mo at MP3 na rin ba? Ilan speakers nya, san located at ano mga size? Alam mo ba yung brand? At ano pala overhead monitor nya?

All stock halat yun HU, Overhead monitor, 6 speakers wala pang nabago at hindi ko napansin kung MP3 na, almost 2 months ko lang yun nagamit..."Amoy Pinipig pa" ha ha ha

Kay Trackers tayo makibalita dahil promise niya pag DIY niya babalitaan tayo.

Goodluck sa upgrade mo... tignan ko na lang pag may EB tayo.
