the invecs2 sportronic is just a regular automatic transmission, slushbox pa rin, the +/- does not really make it a true manual, actually most just put in on D 90% of the time.

medyo wala atang alam neighbour mo IMO.

Uhmmm... before this thread gets closed...

The Lancer MX has a few minor problems... the usual MAF and IACV issues on older cars (these need to be cleaned every 60,000+ kilometers) and some aircon blower issues... but these aren't bad.

What your neighbor is saying about the INVECS transmission is true. Mitsubishi's INVECS-equipped Lancers use three computer boxes instead of the single computer box most compact cars use. If it gets flooded and your boxes get wrecked, you have to buy three boxes instead of the usual single ECU other people would need to buy.

A brand new ECU for most vehicles is 40,000 to 50,000 pesos. Last time my cousin got his Lancer flooded, it cost him 120,000 for the ECUs alone.

But that's if you drive through a flood or get flooded. You should never drive the MX through a flood, since its air intake draws cool air from behind the bumper, and submerging it will result in a hydrolocked (and broken) engine.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

so that three box thing is also applicable to any sportronic transmission right, even diff. brands? buti nalang walang baha dito hehe
