AFAIK, yung 89-92 (0r 93?) na lancer models (EL, GLX) eh yung tinatawag na singkit.

Yung 94-96 models (EL, GLi, GLXi) eh yung may parang dalawang itlog na tail lights.

Yung mga 97-2000 (or hanggang 01) eh may mga parang pizza slice na tail lights.

i used to own all lancer generations, from the EL-type, to the boxtype, to the singkit type, to the itlog. my current car is a pizza. by next year, lancer 2008 na. hehehehe.

seriously. it was called pizza pie, because of the triangular tail lights. it is similar to a slice of pizza. the pizza models started 1997-2001.

yung itlog, it was called itlog, dahil medyo oblongular yung shape nya, circular and lots of curves. it was started 1993-1996.

before that, yung stated mo sa question mo is yung singkit. singkit, dahil singkit yung headlights nya. models started from 1989-1992, although may lumabas pa atang singkit nung 1993 (not sure).

prior to the singkits are the boxtypes.

ang hindi ko lang alam ngayon, bakit walang alyas yung mga lancer model na 2002 onwards. hehehehehe.
