Guys, need info about Lancer GLXI and GTI, both 92 models. What are their differences, in terms of reliability and fuel economy... fair price ba ito (GLxi = 115) & (GTI = 135)?

the GTI is a little bit spruced up, engine wise. tsaka, ang out of the factory neto is with the spices na like front and side skirts, rear spoilers tsaka four spoke yung steering wheels.

GLXi, not sure. wala yatang lumabas na GLXi nung 1992 ah, as far as i know. GLX lang yata.

yes, the price for the GTi is quite reasonable * 135k, although as previously discussed here, check mo yung condition ng oto. you may ask for an "additional tawad" pa ng 5k, para sarado na ng 130k.

    my two cents lang po.

Gti - dressed up version of the lancer. fuel injected 1.5 12v engine. all power (1990-1992)
    GLXi - Fuel injected 1.5 12 v engine. all power(1991-1992)
    GLX - carb 1.5 12v all power (1990-1991)
    GLX - carb 1.5 8v (1988-1990)
    EL - carb 1.3 12v (1990-1992)
    GL - carb 1.3 8v (1988-1990)

for the 1988 to 1990 lancers no power features were available. from 1990 and above power features were incorporated in the GLX , GLXi and Gti models.
The 1990 and 1992 model difference is the additional front signal light on the bumper and a park light on the headlight side. Also tail lights were combination white and red. The older versions had orange and red. While the 1988 till 1990 models had incomplete tail light garnish
Aircon for the 1988 to 1990 models were ESL and Centrota. while the 1990 and above had mit-air or sanden.

ingat lang sa pag bili ng lancer singkit. dapat pa check mo yung chasis near the suspension arm dun madalas mag crack ang chasis ng model na ito. had a lancer 89 singkit. nalubak ng erpats ko ng medyo mabilis takbo nya ayun the next day pag drive ko tigas na manibela. had it checked sa cats and pinakita nila crack sa chasis. had it welded and sold the car na lang. hirap na daw kasi i-align ang ganun kahit welded na yung chasis.

nope 1.5 12 valve cya matipid siya : ) compared to a 2 lt. car. But if you are to compare the new models of today like the altis 1.6 and vios 1.5 and 1.3 lt engines iba na kasi brand new sila at luma na ang GTi 10 years na. That is why you have to check the car properly. A small leak in the spark plug gasket or any place in the engine may cause the fuel consumption to rise. But during its time na bago it gave just enough power and fuel economy
